Cole stood there, watchin the sun rise. And of course, there was only one thing he was thinkin of, Phoebe.

There's a new wind blowin like I've never known
I'm breathing deeper than I've ever done
And it sures feels good to finally feel the way I do
Now I wanna luv somebody, luv somebody like you

He wondered what she was thinking, at the moment, what was going on lately in her life. Ever since he realized that he was truly invincible, he just felt so- wrong. But he knew it would be useless to drown in his own pity, at least from now on. He had to do something with the life he now knew he had for a reason, even if he didn't understand it- yet.

And I'm forgiving myself for the mistakes I've made

But he wanted to understand, why, why she wouldn't accept him; just give them another chance as a couple. If only... Of course, it was evil that destroyed their unity, but Phoebe seemed more inclined to blame him, since he had the powers & all. And somehow, he still held onto the deepest hope inside his heart, that she'd come back, someday. No darkness, no other ulterior motives from neither of them, just the love they both had for each other. He knew she still loved him, no matter how much she denied it.

Before he had met her, he- well, yeah, he was evil, and assigned to kill her, as part of a plan to destroy the Charmed Ones. But she made him feel so- human, and changed everything he had learned since being evil. Loving her was the best thing that had ever happened to him!

What else was it about her? That made their love so strong, it saved his very soul...

And how could she just throw it away, wasn't love about sticking by each other thru the worst times? And living the life they lead, being witches & all, that should include being taken over by evil every now & then... As long as they survive, of course.

He sighed. Well, if he wasn't dying anytime soon, then he wouldn't have to worry 'bout moving on, right? He really would be able to love her forever. And if that's how long it'll take for her to take him back, then that's how long he'll wait. He would continue to live his life as Cole Turner, an attorney, fighting for justice- the normal way.
