Hehehe. This story is based off the LaughingLibra's picture of a cute Grary. :) I absolutely loved it and I'm going to write a story (more like short story) based off it. :D P.S. It was dedicated for theScarleySky on deviantART and if you want to see it, just check my profile. :D

Harvest Moon (C) Natsume, If I did, I WOULD MAKE GRAY AND MARY AN ALREADY MARRIED COUPLE.

Mary's Happy Day

Gray entered the supermarket, money jingling in his pocket, he looked around for the item he wanted. Once he spotted it, he rushed toward to make sure no else would get their hands on it, even though the supermarket was practically empty.

As Gray headed toward the cash register, Jeff asked if he wanted to wrap, Gray shook his head, then took a turn to the door. Before he exited, Jeff called out, "Make sure to give her a good home. And stop by anytime!" Gray nodded at that statement. He hurried toward where the library was, then he stopped at the entrance of the door. Gray breathed in, than out. His hand shakily went to the doorknob, but stopped midway, he than spent two hours pacing back and forth in front of the library. Inside his head he talked to himself.

Should I do it? Go in there and tell her? What would happen? Would she like it? Hate it? Would she say the right thing? What about the wrong way? What could she do that will make it worst? What could she do that'll make it the best? Augh! This is so confusing!

Once Gray had made up his mind, he quickly went inside the library, and slammed the door. The little librarian, surprised, jumped at the slam.

"G-Gray! What are you doing here?" she asked sweetly, not intending to make an insult.

"M-mary, I came here to give you…this." He held out a blue feather, that sparkled and how he cupped his hand to hold it made it seem it was a porcelain doll.

"Gray! Could this be…a new quill?!" Mary shouted with glee. "I just always wanted one! Thank you Gray!" Gray was dumbfounded. Who couldn't blame him? The smartest villager did not know what the blue feather symbolized.

"M-m-mary! You must be kidding me. You obviously know what that is, right?" Gray stammered, red in the face. She looked at him, eyes full of curiosity. She had no clue what he was talking about. Gray sighed. "I guess I have to do it the other way…" he muttered.

"Marianne Janice Berlitz-Taylor, will you marry me?" he asked timidly, but still looked at her with his eyes.

Mary gasped. "Of course!" she hugged Gray and kissed him. "I'm so happy today! I got a new quill and I got married today!" Gray sweat dropped and stared at his fiancé.

"Mary, sit down and let me tell you about the 'quill'."
