Hey y'all. For all of y'all who have read my other story with the rules, this is the background story to it. For all newbies, please read Rules of NEST. It is hilarious.

Please review and tell me how it is as I criticize my own stuff way to much.

Prologue

A tall gold and silver femme stood next to a pool of star water as a slightly taller white mech laid a servo on her shoulder.

"They will do well, Solus. You must cease your worrying."

Solus turned to the mech. "It is not them I worry for. But I cannot but help feel responsible for their predicament."

"That time has not yet passed. You mustn't fret for something that has not yet been set in stone."

"They may not make it."

"They will."

"But If they don't?"

"They must." The mech sighed and started to back away. "Solus, you will see. They must complete this task, or else earth will fall. This universe rests on their shoulders."

As the mech and Solus walked out of sight, the pool shimmered and showed 5 older teens sleeping.

A voice resonated throughout the room. Ancient and filled with wisdom and need.

Time will fall,

Destiny will call,

Everything the five know,

The whole universe shall go,

A species once extinct not yet gone,

A new home, bright as dawn,

The five to choose,

The five to lose,

An endless race,

A Brand new home to preserve or raze.

The pool showed the five teens, three girls and two boy, fast asleep. All except for one. A brownish haired girl twitched as the pool focused in on her.

Yes. Time would tell. Fate and destiny were intertwined after all. But in the end it would be their choices that shape the future.

In the pool, the brown haired girl slept on.
