Mr. Golden Boy
by Meilanu

Through the halls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, there was a certain Hufflepuff that everyone seemed to know and love. He was Hogwarts' very own Golden Boy. He could have easily been labeled as the ideal Hufflepuff, the model student.

Loyal, Fair, and he could get along with practically everyone, even the Slytherins.

It was hard not to like him.

He was good-looking, and many girls wanted to stare deeply into his misty gray eyes or run their hand through his honey brown hair, just to see if it was as soft as it appeared to be. He, of course, would not allow just anyone to do that. But, that's a different story.

He had many friends, and he was always found with a smile on his face. There was not a single moment where anyone saw him with a frown on his face. He had this aura around him that glowed of happiness and you couldn't be sad around him.

He was kind and treated others with respect, even if they didn't deserve it. He wanted to do many things, and he probably would have been able to, too.

So when a terrible incident occurred, you would expect a huge reaction. In fact, there was one.

On that one fateful night...where he was simply at the wrong place at the wrong time..where he chose to be.

So, when you need to make the choice from what is right and what is easy, remember this boy...who sacrificed his life to save another...

Remember Hogwarts' very own Golden Boy, Cedric Diggory.

A/N: Cedric's one of my favorite characters in Harry Potter and it was saddening to see him die. It would have been really cool if Cedric was alive longer (of course that would ruin Harry's chances with Cho, but oh well!) Not that great of a drabble, but I'm sort of content with it. xD Hope you enjoyed it?
