Sleeping Snow Prequel

"But Hicc, she's just so...ugh!" Merida groaned. Hicca stared at her oddly, "Hey, I'm sure she meant nothing by it Mer, this is Jack we're talking about, she's...she's just a kid."

Merida rolled her eyes. Just a kid her ass...

"You guys! You guys!" A familiar blond ran up to them. Her green eyes held a worried glance.

"Punz, what is it? What's wrong?"

Rapunzel hesitated, "It's Jack-"

"What did she do-"

"She's not waking up."

What?

Merida and Hicca turned to her, "What do you mean?"

"I...I'll start from the beginning..."

FLASHBACK!

Rapunzel's P.O.V

I was just getting up, like always. I brushed my hair, got Pascal and went outside. Usually, Jack and I would meet up, I never understood why she woke up this early, then I remembered, it's winter, she loved pelting random things with snowballs. But...she wasn't there. I didn't see her at breakfast either. She wasn't in any of our classes, no one's seen her. I was about to ask Professor Lunar, when Professor Toothiana ran into me.

"Miss Corona," she said, "I'm so glad I ran into you!"

"Toothiana," Professor Gothel walked over to us, "I, oh, Rapunzel, how nice to see you!"

"You too, Mother."

That's what Gothel loved to be called by the younger students, but a few of the older ones, myself included, still called her that. She turned back to Professor Toothiana, "Have you found a cure for her, yet?"

I looked confused.

"No...that's what I wanted to tell you, Rapunzel. It's about Jack."

"What? What happened?"

"Rapunzel," Mother Gothel spoke up, "this morning, Miss Overland was found near the lake. Her skin was freezing to the slightest touch. Her breathing was shallow. Rapunzel, Jack hasn't woken."

"Why?"

"We don't know," Professor Toothiana said, "we've tried everything-"

"TOOTH!GOTHEL!" Professor North ran over to us, "I know what is wrong with Jack!"

"WHAT?!" We all asked him. He looked grim as he said, "She is under the spell of the Ice King. The Sleeping Snow."

END FLASHBACK

Normal P.O.V

"Sleeping Snow? Don't ye mean Sleeping Death?" Rapunzel shook her head at Merida's question. "No, according to Professor North, the Ice King, whoever he is, enhanced the spell. If the cure isn't found, Jack's spirit will be frozen and she'll become a shell of her former self. Guys, we have to something-"

"Why?"

"MERIDA!"

"Because I know how you really feel about Jack Merida!"

"What is she talking about Mer?!"

"She loves Jack."
