Wally grinned as he saw Gotham Academy, running at full speed, passed it up slightly so he could slow down without being seen, and walked over to the school yard right as classes were getting out.

He got a few looks as he walked into the school yard, hands in his pockets lazily, and sees his girlfriend. Grinning he jogs, slowly of course, up behind her.

"Guess who!" He smirked as she jumped slightly and turned around. She seemed surprised, but pleased, to see him.

"Hey!" She kissed him quickly. "What are you doing here?"

"Had a half day so I thought I'd surprise you." He smile as he took his hand. He noticed the blonde she was next to and smiled. "Hi, I'm Wally."

"So you're the boyfriend." The other girl smirked. "I'm Betty. He's so much more attractive than you let on."

"Like I said," Artemis blushed, "He's a hot dork."

"Hot, huh?" Wally grinned, very pleased.

"Shut up." She smacked him as she blushed more. Since they finally started dating she had mellowed out more while Wally had become less of a goof. They balanced each other in the best possible way.

"I guess this means our study session is canceled?" Betty laughed.

"No, you guys should still do it!" Wally insisted. "I don't mind just hanging around."

"Perfect, you can help actually!" Artemis grinned as she turned to Betty. "He's a Chem wiz."

"Perfect!" Betty smiled. "I'll go grab Babs, it looks like Dick's coming now."

Sure enough Dick Grayson was walking up to them as Betty went to drag Barbra away from whatever she was doing.

"Hey man!" Wally grinned as he high fives Dick.

"Wally, hey!" Dick grinned.

"Um, you two know each other?" Artemis asked in surprise.

Wally suddenly became pale as Dick started to laugh.

"Um, yeah, we..." Wally trailed, making Dick only laugh harder.

"His uncle and my dad work together." Dick managed to get out as Wally just looked panicked.

"Yep!" He practically screamed. "They work together!" He didn't want to lie to his girlfriend, but he didn't want to give away his best friend's secret either. This was a good compromise; he only prayed she would buy it.

"Ok..." Artemis looked at them with an eyebrow raised. "Wait, Barry works for Wayne, Inc.?"

"Sort of." Dick snorted as Wally glared for him.

"No!" He scowled. "He's a ... Partner."

"And you are an intern with me." Dick laughed.

"You didn't tell me you got an internship!" Artemis frowned. "Congrats. What do you do?" She was glaring daggers at him.

"Nope, I tap out, either you tell her Grayson or I do." He pouted. Dick only laughed harder.

"Think Arty." Dick used his nickname for her that he rarely used in civies. "Wally and I have been best friends for years. But we live four hours away from each other. Thankfully Zeta Tubes and his super speed make that trip ten minutes."

Artemis's eyes immediately widened as she finally understood.

"No. Way." She muttered. "You can't be. But that makes Bruce. Holy..."

"I think we broke her." Wally whispered with concern. She was quiet for a moment before furry took over we features.

"YOU LITTLE MOTHER-" and she clocked him right in the nose. He fell down in shock and Wally said nothing should her furry turn to him.

"Artemis!" Came a shout as Betty and a red head ran over. "Did you just punch Dick?"

"AND I'LL DO IT AGAIN!" She shouted.

"What did you do?" Babs sighed as he stood up.

"Why am I always the one to start it?" Dick asked innocently.

"You always tease her." Betty rolled her eyes. "About time you got that."

"I'm hurt." He pouted. "Did you meet Wally."

"Oh, hey!" Babs smiled as she recognized him.

"You know him too?!" Artemis asked.

"Yeah, he come to everything for Dick." She smiled.

"We'll talk later." She glared at the two boys, and they all headed to study.
