She ran up to me and hugged me. I don't know her name, but I know I needed her.
"Percy! I'm so happy I found you! Don't ever disappear like that again!" I stepped back. She looked so disappointed. I reached for her hands and held them in mine.
"Look, I don't remember your name. I don't remember anything about you. When I woke up, I only remember 3 things. I remembered my name. I knew I was powerful, and had many enemies. I remembered that I had a home somewhere, a place that I truly belonged. And I remembered a face. For a long time I didn't think she existed. I thought she was an angel. She had beautiful long golden curls for hair and these amazing eyes. With those, it seemed like she was looking into my soul, analyzing me. That face kept me going, whenever I was tired, or felt hopeless, that face would pop into my mind and yell at me, saying I was a Seaweed Brain and that I had to keep fighting. Later I remembered Wise Girl. I'm not sure who I am. The only thing that I know is that I love you. I know you saved me. I know I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you. I know that we've been through a lot, I don't remember what that is, but I made myself two promises when I woke up. The first one was that I would find you. The second is that I will remember everything, for you."
"I'm your Wise Girl." With that, I pulled her into an amazing kiss. My brain turned to jelly and I was completely oblivious to the hundreds of Roman campers, and a few Greek too, watching their leader make out with someone they don't know.
But I do.
"Annabeth."
EPILOUGE
I held her hand as we watched the sunset from the beach. We were back at Camp Half Blood, and were sitting on the beach. We saved the world again, and luckily, we made it out pretty much unscathed.
All my memories came back to me as I kissed Annabeth after I found her. I remembered when I was kidnapped. After I woke up at the Wolf House and made my way to Camp Jupiter, I went on a quest and was then made praetor. After that I went searching. I was searching for Annabeth. I looked everywhere for her, but I couldn't find her. I eventually went back to camp, the Roman one, and got a message from a Leo, who I didn't know, and he said that they were coming. I was ecstatic. I told Reyna and everybody gathered in the Field of Mars. I couldn't believe I found my guardian angel, but now I just call her my wife. Yep, I married her. Right after the final battle. Sure I was fading into unconsciousness when I proposed, but hey, that doesn't matter. We were 17, but when you're a demigod, you tend to not live that long. Especially when two Great Prophecies are about you and you have to lead two major wars. But, we both turn 18 soon, the trip to Rome and battle in Greece took that long, so then we can make it legal with the mortals. That identity crisis was really hard on me and the only that kept me sane was her. One day I told that I wasn't really sure who I was. I mean I was kind of caught between Greek and Roman, and if there was a way to be both. All she said was, "But I do."
