A/N Because I was late uploading 'Fire leaves Burns' I thought I would put up a nice little oneshot, Beta'ed by Microsoft office Word…

And I know, I know…original right? But anyway… I'm not/never will be/ wish I was J.K Rowling.

Small butterflies fluttered in Ron's stomach as he thought over what he planned to do. He looked down at the curly mass of brown hair on his chest, he had seen this day coming, known this was going to happen.

"Hermione Granger. Hermione, Granger.Hermione Grang-"

"Ron, please be quiet, or at least say something other than my name, over and over." Hermione snapped. But Ron was not disheartened; he just grinned and resumed his task.

"Hermione Granger. Her-"

"Ronald, do you have a problem with my name?!" at Ron's silence she sat up, "Good. I think I'm going to go to bed."

This wasn't part of Ron's plan; he wrapped his arms around her waist

"Are you sure about that?" he asked, kissing her neck.

"Ron, let go. Before we argue about this and fight. I don't want to fight tonight."

"But you only want to go to bed because you are annoyed with me." Stated Ron, "And you should never sleep without sorting that out."

Hermione looked at Ron a moment, quite confused as to where he was going with this conversation.

"Yes, I am getting annoyed at you Ron, because you keep saying my name." Ron grinned into Hermione's hair.

"Yes, that's 'cause I hate your name." Hermione jumped to her feet.

"Well then stop saying it over and over then!" She snapped, before turning around to walk into the bedroom.

"Wait! This was not meant to happen like this…" Ron mumbled, but Hermione had already crossed their flat to stand in front of him.

"What was 'not meant to happen like this' you just thought you would insult me and it would all be fine?!"

"No, that's not what I, URGH, why is it that when I try to do something right, it just goes all wrong?!"

"What were you aiming to achieve out of this?! Go on, tell me." Ron looked Hermione in the eye, they were both breathing heavily.

"I want you, to change your name." he whispered softly.

"So you think you can just tell me to-" Ron placed his hand over Hermione's mouth, which only made her even more annoyed. She mumbled against his palm, as he looked her in the eye.

Slowly, Ron leaned forward so his mouth was right by her ear.

"I think Hermione Weasley has got a much better ring to it." he whispered. Hermione stood still as Ron released her, and bent down on one knee.

"There aren't enough minutes in a day to tell you how much you mean to me Hermione. Marry me, and we will have all of the time in the world for me to tell you."

Hermione nodded, slowly, "Yes."

"Yes?"

"Of course you idiot!" she exclaimed slapping him round the shoulder, she dropped to her knees in front of him; "I love you."

"I love you too." He whispered back, pulling a small black box from his pocket, he revealed the simple, yet elegant ring. Hermione's breath caught in her throat.

"Wingardium leviosa" Ron whispered, "The spell that brought us together, bonding us, forever." Hermione slipped her finger through the ring.

"Forever."
