Anyone else hate Danny's apartment as much as me. In this story Rachel and Stan are still together.

Grace Williams looked up at the house with a mixture of confusion and bewilderment.

"Danno, this isn't Uncle Steve's house. His is across the road."

"I know Monkey." said Danny Williams as he gazed down at his daughter. "This is our house."

"Our house?" replied Grace with a shocked tone.

"Yes, ours, Uncle Steve knew the family that used to live here and he got me a great deal. So, no more apartment."

Grace looked at the house again. It was small but perfect in her eyes. There was a front yard and a beautiful archway which she assumed led to the back garden.

Her attention was focused away from the archway when she saw Steve exiting the front door.

"Uncle Steve!" she bellowed as she ran into his arms. "We're going to be neighbours."

Steve laughed as he picked her up. "I know Gracie, you can come visit me anytime you like. As long as it's ok with Danno."

Grace looked at Danny with her puppy dog eyes. Danny could never resist the puppy dog eyes.

"Ok, you can visit Steve but you better tell me where you're going first."

"I will Danno, I promise."

"So," asked Steve. "Do you want to see your new room? Danno and I spent all last night painting it for you."

"Yes, I want to see, let me down Uncle Steve."

Steve bent down to put her on the ground. As soon as her feet hit the asphalt she took off into the house in search for her new room.

Danny watched his daughter fondly. He was glad she liked the new house. Anything would be an improvement over the old apartment.

"Thanks for helping with the new house, Steve."

"No problem, Danno." smirked Steve as he made his way into the house. "I can bug you morning, noon and night now."

Danny groaned in despair. I should have stayed at the apartment. He thought as he followed Steve inside.
