Cold Queen

frozen is the world I see
my lips are blue with loss
to cry from the hollows of darkness
trapped between the cold earth and bleak beyond
taken from the sunshine I knew,
like an abandoned child,
I have cried to morn but the feelings are frozen
inside of me,
don't you see how I suffer inside,
hearing nothing blind threw my tears,
you say you love me, yet you think only of your
sadness, what about mine,
I am nothing but a frozen sight,
your forbidden and glassy queen
to rein upon the untouched darkness
the world above is bright like the maidenhood I knew,
now taken here where no light shines,
I am your queen and captured slave,
frozen yet not forgotten.
