Puberty
A/N: Hey look, more non-Hetalia fics! My first Artemis Fowl fic! Enjoy~!
14-year-old Artemis Fowl was not used to emotions. He was never truely interested in having friends before he met the LEP and not until he was a few missions in.
Then this blasted puberty started.
Now, everytime he saw a girl he though was pretty, he couldn't help but watch them from afar. Which was what he was doing right now. Except... Not to just any girl.
He was staring at Holly.
Artemis kept telling himself to look away and focus on the mission, but this stupid puberty kept getting in the way.
He kept focusing on Holly. He looked at her cropped auburn hair and pretty sharp features and hazel eyes (even though he couldn't see them due to Holly's binoculars).
Everytime he saw them, he got this odd feeling that, after a while, he ended up identifying as happiness. He had never had this feeling before...
Stupid puberty.
Artemis was snapped out of his train of thought when he heard Holly say his name. Artemis turned to listen, but had a lot more trouble than he was having before.
Because now he could see Holly's eyes.
They were a beautiful hazel color and were, at the moment, sharp and focused. Artemis could not stay focused when he was staring into them. Every time he tried to avert his eyes, Holly would ask if something is wrong, and Artemis would answer 'No', before attempting to look her in the eyes again. But then he couldn't.
After one more time of Holly asking, "Are you alright?" Artemis looked back at her and leaned down, quickly kissing her.
Holly's face went red and, before she could do anything, Artemis pulled away. She stared at Artemis with wide-eyes and stuttered, "W-What was th-that?"
Artemis looked at her for a second before shrugging and merely saying, "Puberty," before leaning down to give Holly another kiss.
End
A/N: I got the idea for this when I was reading "The Lost Colony" and Artemis talked about how he was going through puberty. This idea just randomly came to me at,like, midnight so I wrote it quickly in the morning. I didn't know whether I should've posted it or not, but Cera said I should have so here we are. Reviews are awesome~!
