Stanza I
The Argentia Family recently moved in to Pallet Town from Bicotta searching for a better life. They found that better life living in the same section adjacent to the houses of the Oaks and the Ketchams. That was 2 years ago. Gargentio is husband to Labertia, and together they raise their 13 year old son named Ruttobeto and their 15 year old daughter Margellia. Out of all the Argentias, only Margellia was fanatic about Pokémon upon arrival. Even after 1 year and a half, Gargentio and Labertia would deny Margellia of ever wishing to become the next legendary trainer. Such discouragement would not stop her from reaching that dream. After strong persuasion from the researcher Prof. Oak, Gargentio finally allowed her to train Pokémon of her own. As soon as Margellia's 28th day of her 15 days went into morning, she walked excitedly to Prof. Oak's labaatorium. There she waits for the Professor, while a mid-aged lady stood by. "Grandfather Oak is always retarded on official appearances." "What?" Margellia responded. "I mean that my grandfather is always late." "I see. How do you know?" "If I wasn't Daiga, Oak's granddaughter, I wouldn't be telling you he's late. By the way, what are you doing here?" Margellia hesitated after Daiga had asked that question. She slowly recovered from her astonishment and said "I recently got a license to train Pokémon." "Why did you hesitated??" "Dunno. I guess that it's just me." "Okay...still incoming is the Professor." In came Prof. Oak "Hello Margellia, happy about your first day?" "...yes." said Margellia shakely. "Everyone's nervous the first day, but with time you may take charge." "Oh, well okay." "Well, in the table on your right, there are 3 Pokéballs, each containing 3 distinct Pokémon recently captured. You only get one choice Margellia." "Make sure it's a good one." added Daiga. While making her fitful decision, Margellia glanced nervously at the Pokéballs, and Daiga's youthfulness. At one point, she might have been thinking more of Oak's granddaughter than either Pokémon. At last, she chose the one at the center, and out came out a green monster with a bulb on the top. "That's a Bulbasaur." said Oak. "Ah! A Bulbasaur! What other choices were they?" question Margellia. "There was also a fire-type Charmander and a water-type Squirtle." answered Oak. "Then, I'll keep the Bulbasaur!" said Margellia. "I'm glad that you'll reconize your Bulbasaur. Either Pokémon you would picked would be good equally." said Daiga, and with that Margellia tried to hold her feelings behind. "Here's your Pokédex, a device used to keep track of the Pokémon you see or capture. You should also take the gym challenge, and the closest gym is in Viridian City." "I'll go there, Bulbasaur, get back to your pokéball..." but with great difficulty, her Bulbasaur refused to heed with her command, at last she gives in "Just come with me." sounding annoyed. When she left, she said to herself "Daiga must be very cute for her age, very dreamy..." she then fell and woke up from her small muse. The two companions left for Route 1 up north to Viridian City. To be continued... STANZA I ENDS HERE.
