Sam's Feelings
By
Frodo's Sister
Sam sat down on the rock and started to cry. Tears were pouring out of his eyes in torrents. He looked at his master walking away. Gollum, who was trailing behind him, was holding his hand. Gollum turned around and looked at Sam with hate and satisfaction. Sam continued to cry. His heart was broken because his master, Frodo, didn't want him around anymore. The words that Frodo said, were being repeated in his mind breaking his heart each time.
Sam felt he had no choice but to go down those dangerous stairs and head home. So he slowly got up and walked to the stairs. He cried on his way down the stairs. He felt lonely and rejected. His master had taken Gollum's side and accused him of trying to take the ring from him. The thought of Frodo accusing him of being a thief was like an arrow that pierced his heart. It caused him to cry even harder.
More than halfway down the stairs he slipped on the rocks and fell hitting his head. His face was next to the lembas Gollum had flung over the edge a while ago. Seeing those lembas made Sam angry. Ignoring the pain in his head, he picked up the lembas and crushed them in his hands. While he was doing that he was thinking about Gollum throwing those lembas and planting false evidence on Sam so that Frodo would blame him for it. Sam's anger rose at such treachery. He was extremely angry at Gollum for succeeding in separating him from his master. Than a thought occurred to him.
"Now I know why Gollum turned Frodo against me. He wanted Frodo to be alone so he can harm him. Well he's not going to harm my master if I can help it."
Sam immediately turned around and started to climb those stairs again. He tried to climb as fast as possible so that he could get to his master in time to save him. Half an hour later he succeeded in climbing to the top.
A few minutes later, he walked into a tunnel, hoping it was the right one. He discovered broken webs. It was evident that someone had freed himself from those webs. He guessed that it was Frodo. He followed the trail of broken webs until he came to a clearing. There he saw a huge ugly spider wrapping Frodo in her web. He picked up Galadriel's glass and Sting and began to threaten the spider with it.
