Reiji Sakamaki takes an interest in Yui after she approaches him asking for help. He promises if she complies to his one simple request, he'll grant her protection from the rest of his brothers. All she has to do is play the role of a willing test subject for his drug potions…

Yui paced before the heavy oak door, trying to subdue the fluttering sensation at the pit of her stomach as she warily eyed the corridors for onlookers. It was difficult to know if her shaking was attributed to her constant feeling of unrest, or due to the Sakamakis' incessantly frequent episodes of blood consumption.

Her mind replayed the sensation of fangs piercing her skin, a barrier she had come to realise, offered as much protection as tissue paper did against needles. She gritted her teeth and shook the unpleasant thoughts from her head. Inhaling deeply, she mentally rehearsed the short speech she had planned. It's now or never, she told herself, and after few moments hesitation, she knocked on the door.

"Who is it?" came a deep monotonous voice.

"It's Yui..." she said.

"Come in!"

She could already sense his impatience, and it was a tone that made no effort to hide its owner's distaste of interruptions. Yui's hand hovered over the polished brass doorknob but before her fingers could grasp the handle, it turned on its own and the door swung open with a creak, revealing a tall slender silhouette, illuminated from behind by the glow of flickering candles. She gulped.

"Do you know what time it is, human?" Reiji glared at her with a faint air of annoyance. His voice sent chills down her back. Her meticulously planned speech suddenly decided to jump ship.

"I... umm... I'm sorry, I came...I wanted to know..."

"Good grief, I was in the middle of titrating the essence of a rare plant. Sit there," he ordered, pointing to a couch. Yui obliged, relieved she he didn't just outright turn her away. Reiji shut the door and made his way back to his desk. He picked up one of the pieces amidst a complex array of glass vials and test tubes, and inspected it with profound intensity as Yui gawked at his outlandish set up.

Reiji sighed. "I trust you have a purpose behind your visit?"

"I'm came to you because you're the only one who hasn't... taken my blood," she finally admitted, sheepishly.

"True. I exhibit exceptional self control in comparison to my impulsive brothers so it's not surprising that's the case." His eyes didn't stray from the dark blue liquid he was swivelling above the candle flame, "You haven't answered my question. What is your purpose?"

"You see... I need your help. I'm scared of losing so much blood that I don't wake up again! Laito took so much blood from me this morning, I passed out and only came to a few minutes ago. And it's not just him, everyone acts the same," Yui cried.

"So you came to consult me about this in the middle of the night. Did it not cross your mind that I have more pressing matters to deal with?"

"Please, you have to help me, I'm begging you. You're the only one who acts with reason in this entire household!"

Seiji paused for a moment, as if weighing his options, but in reality he had already come to a decision. He'd made up his mind the moment Yui knocked. He shook the effervescing liquid in his hand, and grinned, knowing full well the girl couldn't catch his expression in the dim lighting. She had come to him willingly. It was just too good.

"Whining is not an attractive quality, but since I have the courtesy and innate obligation to aid those in need, I'll make you an offer. I will protect you from my brothers, but only if you agree to certain conditions."

"Yes!" Yui exclaimed, "I mean, thank you-"

"I have yet to even state my terms. Don't be so rash as to agree without consideration, human." He turned toward her, his eyes concealed by the light reflecting off his glasses. "If you comply with my orders and become a test subject for my potions, I will offer you protection from the others for as long as you remain in this household. I have quite a collection of samples that have yet to be tested, and of course they are... relatively safe. I want this choice to be of your own volition, so you should know that you have complete freedom to choose whether to accept or decline."

"If I agree to that, will you really stop your brothers from harassing me?"

"I will not permit them to drink your blood as long as you remain in this household… unless you wish otherwise." The corners of the dark haired man's mouth twitched, but he supressed the grin pulling at his lips.

"And your… potions, what do they do? They won't kill me will they?"

"I have no interest in poisoning you if that's where your concern lies. I can guarantee the effects are all temporary and last no longer than a few hours…"

Yui couldn't think of anything much worse than being relentlessly pursued by five thirsty vampires for the rest of her life. She would opt for Reiji's strange potions over the alternative any day. It was probably the safer of the two. She had come to see Reiji as a fatherly figure, and the most reliable of all the Sakamakis. If there was anyone she could depend upon, it would be him.

"Oh, I almost forgot. At first, I will require your services every day for a week. Then I will only need you on a weekly basis for follow up sessions. If you refrain from breaking any of my rules in the first week, I will also keep my word and offer you the protection you requested."

"Thank you Reiji-san! I... I gratefully accept your offer!"

"Good. Then you must listen to my orders from now on."

He stood up before her, still holding the vial of blue liquid. Yui looked up at him from the couch, full of curiosity.

"I will tell you to administer one potion every day, if you are to refuse even one of them, our agreement will be terminated. Do you understand?"

"Yes…" Yui thought this sounded rather harsh, but it was too late to negotiate since she'd already accepted. "So seven potions in all?"

"Indeed. The drug will only remain in your system for a couple of hours. Honestly, I have many more I would like to test, but they will have to wait. There's a risk of interactions between various potions, so I'll be carefully selecting each one."

"I see, but what will they do to me?"

Reiji raised his eyebrows. "The entire aim of this process is to assess the effects of a potion without preconceptions. If I were to tell you my hypotheses, you'd have preconceived notions and inadvertently demonstrate bias in your reactions."

"Right… so you can't tell me."

"No I can't. Of course in the best case scenario, we would conduct a trial, where both me, the analyst, and you, the subject, are oblivious to each drug. However, that could require a third party, and I'm hardly convinced any of my brothers would be up for the job."

He handed her the small glass filled with blue liquid. It was still warm to touch from the flame he had been heating it with. "This potion, I've been working on for the past couple of weeks," he said proudly, "Drink it."

When Yui maintained the unsettling vial at arms length, he impatiently crossed his arms. Seeing Seiji's reaction and not wanting to anger him, she nervously raised the vial to her lips and downed the liquid. The sweet, flowery taste lingered on her tongue. That wasn't bad, she thought and watched with fascination as Reiji jotted down something on his leather bound notebook that her eyes weren't quite able to distinguish. "That tasted rather sweet," she stated.

"Yui, are you an honest girl?" Reiji asked out of the blue.

"Umm… yes I do my best to be…" she looked at him quizzically, confused by the sudden question.

"Then tell me," he said, his cold gaze piercing through her like daggers, "Do you get a thrill out of being toyed with, played with like a mere object?"

"Of course n-" she felt her throat close up, "I h-love it when they touch me and lick…" She trailed off and gasped when she realised the words leaving her mouth weren't the ones she intended to say. Her cheeks burned. Yui covered her face with her hands, wanting to sink right through the ground. When she peeked through her fingers, she realised Reiji was not staring at her judgmentally but notating something in his notebook.

"That wasn't tr-" she tried to say, but again the words caught in her throat. She realised, much to her horror, what Reiji had given her must be somewhat akin to a truth serum. She barely acknowledged her masochistic side, yet under Reiji's drug, she had admitted it without hesitation.

"Right," he muttered and went back to his notes. She realised he was examining and recording her every action. Yui wanted to curl up in a ball and die from embarrassment, she had never felt so self-conscious. In the midst of her shame, Reiji unabashedly added fuel to the fire.

"Have any of my brothers… forced themselves on you?" He asked.

If she abstained from answering, at least nothing worse could happen. She stared at him awkwardly, her mouth a firm line. It wasn't long before she felt an incredible compulsion pushing from her gut, "No…" she blurted after a few painful seconds of hesitation.

He nodded. "Very well. That's all. You're free to leave my room, human."

"A-are you sure?" Yui was shocked he didn't want to ask her any more provocative questions. She was also slightly disappointed because it was sort of exhilarating to only be able to speak the truth. If he had picked up on the tinge of dismay in her voice, he didn't react to it.

"Asking you questions in this contrived environment is a fruitless ordeal. The true effects can only be observed in natural settings. I trust you will be back here in an hours' time to report on events."

"Wait, you mean I can leave?"

"Yes, go about your normal day. I want you to tell me exactly what happens when you come back. Don't forget, break my orders and our deal is off."

Yui excused herself. As the heavy oak door closed behind her, she glanced down the dark corridor. Reiji hadn't specified for her to do anything in particular. For all he knew her normal day could be hiding under her bed like a bear in hibernation, avoiding all of the Sakamaki brothers like the plague. There was no way that would count as breaking any of Reiji's rules. If she could tiptoe down the hallway past Laito's room without raising suspicions, she could easily hole up in her chambers and get through the entire hour without a single encounter. Simple, she thought, and started cautiously pacing her way down the cold marble tiles.

She froze at every tiny stir in the air, feeling like a criminal. Slipping into her familiar room, she breathed a sigh of relief. The place had never seemed so welcoming. Despite this, she knew from experience it was likely at least one of the brothers would come looking for her. On multiple occasions, they had paid her a surprise visit, stating they felt peckish, even at the most inconvenient times for her. Yui fell back onto her bed, praying she'd be lucky this time.

It wasn't long before she heard footsteps. Crap! The brothers didn't need walk at human pace, they could glide and be at their desired destination at the blink of an eye. It was obviously to taunt her. And it was working. She leapt up and threw herself into the wardrobe, closing the door behind her just as the bedroom door swung open. She willed her heart to quieten its hammering as the footsteps stopped. Someone was in her room.

"Oh, Bitch-chan~ Where have you disappeared off to?" Laito's drawl broke the calm. He was met with silence, but all of a sudden he forcefully smacked his fist against the wardrobe door, causing a thud to reverberate through the panels. The sudden shock startled Yui. She jumped and hit her head on the back of the wardrobe.

"There's no use pretending... I can hear you breathing," he jeered. She cowered behind some dresses and wondered why Laito was back so soon when he had only taken her blood a few hours ago. Light leaked into the small space and a face she didn't want to see peaked through.

"Found you!" His melodic voice rang out as he grabbed her shoulders. "Let's play a game- my reward for finding you! Truth or dare?"

"No! I don't want to!" Yui shrank back further behind various fabrics.

"Are you sure? In that case I'll just suck your blood until you pass out..."

"Wait! Please don't do that! I'll play then."

Laito stepped into the wardrobe. "Since you seem so reluctant, I'll go first, I pick truth," he grinned a toothy grin. Yui sensed Laito knew more than he was letting on.

"Have you been eavesdropping on me?" She asked in a small voice.

"Ah your conversation with Reiji was very entertaining, who knew what fascinating information I would find out?"

Yui turned beet red. So he knew. This was a disaster waiting to happen.

"Truth or dare, Little Bitch?"

"Answer me!"

"...D-dare."

"I dare you to pick truth next time."

"W-what? You can't d-"

"Yes I can, and I pick dare."

Yui blinked. Maybe she could beat Laito at his own game and get out of this if she played her cards right. "I dare you to leave my room for the next two hours."

"Oh no can do, I'll have to pass on that one."

"What?! That defeats the whole point, then I don't have to pick truth for the next one," She said, her frustration bubbling to the surface, "Why do you have to be so difficult?"

"The more you hate me, the more I want to tease you," he smirked and pushed her against the wooden back of the wardrobe. His leg pressed up against her groin. Before she could push him away, he asked her, "So do you hate me, Bitch-chan?"

Again Yui tried to keep her mouth shut, but the overwhelming urge to speak overpowered her ability to remain silent. "...How can I say I don't at this point? You're always acting mean and you hurt me over and over without batting an eyelid! You never listen to what I want!"

"Wow, so feisty! I thought you'd be a little more subdued after what happened earlier today."

He leaned down and traced a line across her collar bone with his tongue, but made no attempt to pierce her skin. "Have you forgotten what I said so soon? The more you hate me, the more I desire you..." Laito's manic laughter was dampened by the clothing in the wardrobe, but it still sent shivers down her spine. He slowly made his way up, trailing soft kisses and savouring the whimpers he evoked from the girl. Yui felt the light graze of his fangs against her neck and clenched her teeth in anticipation.

"You say I never listen, so I'll ask you now, what do you want?" He whispered in her ear.

"...Sto- kiss me more," Yui said. Her common sense told her she should get away from the man, but her body ached for more.

"It seems you're thirstier than I am... my little Slut," Laito taunted, eagerly fulfilling her request. He flicked his tongue against the corner of her lips and she instinctively tried to turn away. However, Laito entwined his fingers in her hair and twisted her back to face him. The stinging sensation at her scalp made her eyes water, but he began to tug harder, causing her to gasp. The vampire used this to his advantage, slipping his tongue between her parted lips. She let out a soft wail against him.

Laito's fingers glided under her skirt, lingered on her leg and then ventured upward, toward her inner thigh. Yui grabbed his hand. "Stop this, please!" She pleaded, "If it's my blood you want, just take it!"

"Oh? But I thought we were enjoying ourselves. Do you really want me to do such a thing?"

"No, carry on, touch me more..." she blurted in response to his question, completely contradicting what she'd said earlier. Reiji's drug was making the situation into a confusing mess. She was frantically trying to push the man away and at the same time, she was begging for more. The mismatch between her words and actions delighted Laito.

"This is too much fun. Seeing you struggle with your own desires is so entertaining." Suddenly his face lit up with a devilish grin.

"I have a very important question for you, Bitch-chan," he drawled.

This was bad. She knew no matter what he asked, she would be unable to control the words leaving her mouth.

"I want you to tell me your... darkest fantasy. Now, what is it? Tell me!"

This was worse than bad, this was a nightmare. "I don't kn-" she choked up again. She didn't want to tell him, but it was impossible to hold back, no matter how hard she tried to resist opening her mouth.

A few seconds later, an even more ominous grin plastered itself onto the vampire's face. Yui felt like crying from the horror of the words that had left her mouth. The humiliation was too much for her to handle. Gone was the pure, innocent image she'd always held in front of others.

"Thank you for enlightening me, Bitch-chan!" He said gleefully.

She sincerely hoped Laito wouldn't tell anyone about this, but then to her utmost horror, she realised she would have to report the entire incident to Reiji. She groaned inwardly.

Her thoughts were interrupted as she felt herself being lifted into the air. Laito had picked her up and was carrying her over to the bed. He dropped her down onto the bed sheets.

"I'll be back in a second, don't move," he said and disappeared.

Yui contemplated running back to Reiji, but the hour wasn't up and she was afraid it would count as defying his rules. She couldn't risk it when her future depended solely upon their agreement. However, she couldn't help but fear what would would happen if she stayed here in wait of Laito.

The next thing she knew, she was staring at her bound ankles, rope tethering her legs to the bedposts, spread eagle. Laito had wrapped his tie around her wrists in a tight knot above her head. Despite being fully clothed, she felt incredibly vulnerable as his gaze raked up and down her body, hungrily drinking in her squirming figure. He suddenly turned off the lights.

"I'll start from where you're most delicious..." he murmured and Yui heard the creak of her bed and the mattress sink at her feet. Laito had positioned himself between her open legs and leaned down, face hovering at her inner thigh so she could feel his breath against her exposed skin. She winced as his canines punctured her, but instead of sucking, he swirled his tongue over the wound, saliva aiding the regenerative process.

"Maybe I should have a taste a little higher..." his voice was taunting. He pierced her skin again, sustaining his pattern of drawing blood and healing, slowly inching his way up her thigh with each bite. Yui couldn't help whimpering with each prick. The darkness of the room meant she was unable to see her assaulter, so sensation was amplified to compensate.

He moved onto her stomach, lifting her top as his went, repeatedly piercing and healing like before as he stroked her skin with his fingertips. Yui had never felt like this before, her body was being overloaded with stimulation. Soon he had removed her top and was targeting his bites on her chest. He kept shifting to various areas of her body, each just as intimate as the last, continuing like this for so long that Yui lost track of time. She began moaning for him to stop.

"Laito, please..." Yui gasped, her response a mix between pain and anticipation. Anticipation for what? She didn't know. "I can't take it anymore..."

"Hmm? This is what you wanted, you told me yourself!"

"Nooo, I didn't want this to happen!"

Yui realised since he was re-enacting what he'd forced her to say earlier, this was only heading towards more mortification. She struggled to shake him off, but Laito grabbed onto her hips and firmly secured her in place. With her ankles bound to the bed posts, she could only clumsily swat at his head with her tied wrists.

Laito laughed his signature sadistic laugh and slid his fingers under the sides of her underwear, teasingly stretching the fabric.

"Laito, please... stop!"

Of course, the vampire pretended to be oblivious to her requests, smothering her protests with kisses until she fell silent.

Yui was almost confused by the immediacy of his movements as the weight lifted off her body.

"Of course, it was Reiji, not me, in your fantasy..." Laito said dryly, directing his voice at the door.

The light flickered on and Yui squinted hard, the sudden brightness stinging her eyes. After a few moments she could distinguish a dark haired figure at the door. He was scowling at them.

"Laito," Reiji said distastefully, "perhaps you should leave now."

"It's such a pity we couldn't finish this Bitch-chan, maybe next time..."

"Laito, just go, you've caused enough harm already," Reiji ordered. His half-brother grinned at Yui one last time and vanished at a moment's notice.

After Reiji untied her, Yui burst into tears she had been holding back for so long. He waited patiently at her bedside as she snivelled and hiccupped. When she was done, he spoke.

"You didn't come back at the hour mark. I assumed you'd forgotten but judging from the situation, it was more a case of... being physically unable to do so. You broke my rules, but there's no helping it so I'll let you off this time."

He asked her if she was able to walk, to which she nodded weakly, so he led her back to his office.

"Now, tell me all the events that occurred," he instructed, picking up his notebook and crossing his legs at his desk. The potion had yet to wear off, and much to her dismay, Yui found herself recounting the events of the past hour in profound detail. Many details of which she wished she could leave out.

Reiji didn't even react as she admitted her answer to Laito's question, an answer that involved Reiji doing very questionable things to her. He kept writing without a pause. When he was finished, he placed his pen down on his desk and walked over to Yui.

"You may have realised this by now, but the drug I gave you was a modified truth serum," Reiji explained, "From the results, I have come to the conclusion it is much more potent than the average, able to coerce its user to truthfully answer questions even when they attempt to hold their silence."

Yui nodded and he continued.

"Of course, a single trial is never enough for conclusive proof, but future trials will have to wait. The potion will wear off within a few minutes, but before it does, I have one last question."

Yui had been asked so many humiliating questions that she'd become desensitised to this kind of harassment.

"Yes?" She said.

"Who was the person in your... fantasy?"

Yui paused, "Well..." she tried to stall but the truth was begging to be thrown into the open. "It was..." she coughed and covered her mouth with her hands. "...you!" she blurted in a muffled tone.

Reiji nodded and scribbled something down in his notebook again, face a blank slate.

"You can rest assured," he picked his words carefully, "There is no way that I will act with the rash impulses compatible to that of Laito's."

There was an awkward silence as they stared at each other. Yui was the first to look away, unable to bear the strange electric intensity in the air.

After a few seconds, Reiji cleared his throat and strolled over to the door, holding it open.

Yui walked out the room feeling dazed, "I'll see you then-"

"I trust you'll be back tomorrow evening for the second potion," he said, and flashed a rather grim smile. Yui caught an unsettling glimpse of his protruding canines before he shut the door. She could only ponder what he had in store for her. Her heart beat faster as she envisioned placing all her blind faith in his potions. Was she really just desperate for his protection from the Sakamaki brothers, or was it something else that she wanted so badly from him?

Thanks for reading so far! I totally love sadistic guys so this stuff is very entertaining to write. I don't know how accurate my portrayal of the characters are, but I'm going by what material I can access as I haven't found a way to play the Otome game in English yet.

I'm just sowing the seed for the lemon tree...

Basically lemons are to come in future chapters ;)
