Chapter ONE

Cora was only five when her parents died. Being only five it didn't really affect her, sure she missed her mother and father, she missed her mothers comforting tone and she missed the occasions when her father would play with her, But losing her parents wasn't the end of the world not to a five year old, not like it was to a twenty one year old. Tony only had his little sister left, he needed to protect her, make sure she was happy but what does he do? Gets drunk repeatedly and sleeps with anything that was of the female persuasion.

It was hard on the young Stark girl. Having to watch her older brother drink himself into an early grave. He had always been a party animal, driving his parents up the wall with his antics but he loved his little sister, always making sure to spend what ever time he could with her.

But that all changed after the accident, he became distant, cold. Cora didn't hold this against him, not for a while anyway...

The last straw happened after Cora found out she was pregnant, a pure accident one that Cora claims was the best thing to ever happen to her. Tony disagreed.

Cora wasn't as smart as her father or brother, so school was an issue, having all these standards to fall under made school more stressful then it should have been.

You had a standard as a Stark. But Cora wasn't smart, she was the first to admit this, she was just ordinary, So she had to pay extra attention in class had to study extra hard just to get a pass grade something that she knew her father would have been disappointed in.

Having a baby at sixteen wasn't the plan, can anyone actually plan that? She had to focus's on school on going to a top collage to carry on the Stark legacy but things change and her brother just didn't see that. He saw it as a mistake that needed fixing.

Cora knew deep down that her brother only said those awful words to her because of the drink and drugs, but it hurt her too much to stay.

So the morning after the explosive fight, she left. Didn't leave anyway to contact her and backed only what she would need. She decide to raise her baby and if her brother wasn't happy with that then he could just stuff it.

The first couple of months were terrifying, Having no money was something completely knew to her. So first things first she had to find a job, maybe even two so she could support her self but more importantly her child.

Tony didst know what to think when he saw a hastily written note next to his baby sisters phone. He laughed it off, she would be back! he was sure. She would be back.

As soon as he said those words to her he instantly regretted it, he didn't mean them one bit. He was just worried. She was the only family he had and he didn't want to lose her. Having a baby was something he knew nothing about so he looked it up, he spent the entire night looking up various complications that could happen during childbirth.

It wasn't as high as it used to be, but it was still there.

He couldn't lose her.

She would come back, he was sure of it.
