Rain

I love the rain. I remember those rainy days when my brothers would play outside. I would always join them and regret it later on. The boys were always tough on me so I don't know why I didn't expect getting mud in my face or thrown on the ground. I hid my emotions though, I never cried in front of them, I wouldn't hear the end of it if I did.
"Ginny?" I turned to find harry standing behind me. I looked into his emerald eyes and saw the hurt he was feeling. We all were feeling it. I couldn't answer him. My throat was tight and dry from the tears I just shed. I turned back around. I couldn't let him see me cry, I didn't want to be weak. I felt the tears roll down my cheeks and I fell to my knees.
Harry was there in a second to catch me. I lay there crying my heart out in his arms. He rubbed my arms and kissed my head.
I cried remembering those rainy days with Fred.
...
We stood under black umbrellas, in black clothing, while black clouds covered the sun. A few spoke, but I heard no words.
I stood watching people cry, and people talk in quiet voices. Once the talking was over people walked away slowly. I stood still and watched the rain. Harry looked at me for a moment before kissing my forehead and walking away with the others.
When I walked toward the house I saw a figure. I stopped and saw Fred. He wore a smile on his face. I watched him run around in the rain and roll in the mud. I laughed and smiled.
I dropped my umbrella and took off my heels. I smiled while rain poured on me. I started dancing and messing around with him like we used too.
"Ginny!" I heard Bill yell but I didn't listen, I didn't want too. Fred was still there dancing with me in the rain. I couldn't be any happier.
"Ginny, get in the house before you catch a cold!" Charlie yelled. I didn't listen though.
Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned to find George look at me. He held a serious expression on his face. I took his hand and smiled. He looked confused. I looked over towards Fred and George did too, but he didn't see him.
"Come on…" He said in a hoarse voice. I looked back at Fred and he smiled and waved. I smiled at him and felt a tear fall from my eye.
I walked back inside with George, but before we got inside I looked back and saw Fred running around with a smile on his face.
