Hey guys! This is my first fanfic, so constructive crit. appreciated. Sorry if I completely butcher the characters.
Cinder thrummed her fingers on her thigh. They had just dropped Kai off with no holdups, and the press was eating him alive. Asking him what happened, what it was like on the ship, if he had information on the wanted criminal.
He was doing a good job lying, telling the press that they had locked him up, and that he had never seen Cinder's face, only android, which besides Iko, they did not have.
She was checking the revived list in the Earthen news, she checked it every day, constantly. The name "Linh Peony" never popped up, and she wondered if it eever would. And on top of all of that, they still haven't figured out who was doing it, or even better why, or how? I mean how do you bring someone back from the dead while simultaneously curing them of Letumosis? It made absolutely no sense. All they had figured out is that it was clearly some sort of shot, the revived always had a small prick in their skin from the needle, not to mention, a strange unexplainable design that formed around it.
She sighed as she reached the end of the list. No Peony, no Dr. Erland, and no Emperor Rikan. Not that she was positive reviving the Emperor would do much good, as she personally thought Kai was doing a much better job, but she knew that would make Kai happy, and that's all that mattered.
"Cinder!" Cooed a no longer blind Thorne, snapping her out of her brooding. "We're heading to Luna!"
