Chapter 1
"Okay listen up class, my name's and I'll be taking over this class. Any questions?" Lily, the teachers' pet, raised her hand.
"What made you want to to teach math?" Lily asked when picked on.
"Well, I love math and I love kids too. So I decided to teach math to kids." answered.
I rolled my eyes. No, I thought, the only reason you're here is because you're the most qualified for the job and you lost a bet. I pinched myself to keep from blurting that out. When will I finally learn how to NOT detect lies. At least not find out the truth that the lie tried to conceal. Yeah, right. The farthest I've gotten is not blurting out the truth. And even that is hard, I usually have to pinch myself or something. Well anyway, back to what's happening in 8th grade math.
I was barely paying attention as usual. Which was fine because I already knew all the stuff and nobody calls on me anyway. "How about you in the green shirt?"
I take that back.
