Prologue
"NARUTO"
"SASUKE"
Two figures, one black-haired the other blonde, race through the air towards each other with a single arm outstretched each. One has lightning coating his hand and bat wings while the other has a red coating of bubbles surrounding him in the shape of a fox and a swirling purple orb in his hand.
"CHIDORI"
"RASENGAN"
They hang in midair for a moment before falling, their attacks flickering before dying out. They land on the ground, the blonde unmoving with the black-haired boys harm sticking out of his back where his heart was.
"Nothing shall get in my way of killing that man. Not even you, Naruto" the boy with wings stated, before flying off.
The blonde boy, Naruto, lay unmoving before he disappeared in a flash of light.
- Time Skip (5 years later) -
Naruto stretched as he woke up from his nightmare, yawning as he attempted to sort through the fragmented memories seen in his dream. He landed in the home of the magus in charge of the city, one Tohsaka Rin.
- Flashback -
Upon seeing him on her dining room table, she immediately called an ambulance and paid for him to be taken care of the hospital. Of course, she had an ulterior motive for doing did this in the hope that the mysterious boy would be able to help her fix the Gem Sword Zelretch, as her family was tasked generations before. After all, he clearly used Kaleidoscope to appear in front of her as she ate dinner.
Once Naruto awoke however, he found himself unable to remember anything aside from his name. As a result, Rin decided to offer him housing on the condition that he work for her as a personal butler and allow her to perform experiments on him so long as they were not harmful. As a result of his help and the experiments she was able to perform, she was able to gain her mages crest a full 2 years early, when she was only 14.
During one of her experiments she decided to consecrate him, and discovered to her shock that not only did he have over 500 circuits, they were ALL of A++ quality capable of producing a grand total of 77,550 units of prana. In addition, she was excited to discover that he had a phantasmal beast sealed inside of him, granting him an additional 900 circuits, each one EX quality. Not only that, but his element and origin were mind boggling! Somehow, he had Space and Time as his elements, and Dimension as his origin. She never knew of any of these existing before, much less all at once! She was increasingly hopeful that he would be capable of using the 2nd True Magic of Kaleidoscope, and helping her complete the Gem Sword.
- Flashback End -
Naruto got dressed and prepared for the day, never noticing the red patch beginning to form on the back of his hand.
Author's Note: This is going to be an AU in the Nasuverse world, but Naruto characters will eventually join. I'm hoping to get a chapter a week, with chapters being longer than this, at around 1,500-3,000 words each. However, I'm in college and this is only a hobby so updates may end up being sporadic.
