A/N: This was a request, enjoy.
Disclaimers: I don't own Young Justice, nor The little Mermaid.
Megan has always wanted to come to earth, but no matter how much begging she did, her uncle would never allow it.
"No, M'gann, earth is much to dangerous for a young women such as yourself."
"Uncle!" The girl protested, "I was born forty-eight years ago!"
"But, that is only sixteen earth years." J'onn informed his niece.
"So?" M'gann protested, as her uncle turned to leave their ship.
"You came aboard, though you were not allowed, M'gann, be thankful i am allowing you to stay here, and not sending you home." J'onn said, turning from his niece, preparing to exit the ship.
"Where are you going?" M'gann asked.
"I must show Speedy, Aqualad, Kid Flash, and Robin around the...Justice League Headquarters, I will return, soon, stay put." And with that, the martian was gone.
Waiting until she was certain her uncle was no longer there, M'gann slowly edged to the exit.
"Do i really go?" She rubbed her hands, "Yes, no, yes, no!" She argued with herself, but by the time she had her answer, she was already out the door.
"What he doesn't know can't hurt him, can it?" The young girl thought to herself, stepping into the sun(1). It was warm against her pale green skin, wait, green skin? Thinking fast, M'gann tried her best to change her form, but frankly, she didn't know much about humans.
"What do i do, what do i do?" She was frantic now, what if someone saw her. Thinking over what she did know, do to an old earth show she used to watch, M'gan quickly morphed her appearance to match the star of the show, Marie Logan. Once that was complete, the girl put her feet on the ground, and strode outside. She wasn't even that far out, when a voice entered her head.
"M'gann, I thought I told you to stay put!" J'onn scolded.
"Uncle J'onn, please!" M'gann argued.
"No, get back to the ship, now!"
"GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" M'gann screamed, closing off her mind. She rubbed her arm roughly, when a man strolled up behind her.
"Hello." He said.
"Uh, hi." M'gann said slowly.
"I know who you are, and I believe I can help you." The man said, holding up a gold chain, with a red gem on the end.
"Um, h-how, can you help me?"
"You are a martian, aren't you, and you're uncle won't allow you to go and explore earth, and oh dear, that pesky telepathic connection keeps getting in the way, now doesn't it?"
"Uh, yeah."
"Well, this gem here will suppress your martian abilities as long as you wear it." M'gann's face lit up, but then fell. The man smirked at her.
"What is the matter, my dear?" He asked.
"Is there a catch, this seems to good to be true." M'gann admitted.
"Just one, as long as you wear that chain, your powers will be transported to me." The man held the necklace out again.
M'gann bit her lip.
"Without it, our uncle will surely know of your exploration of earth." The man pointed out. He was right though. Finally decided, the girl took the necklace, and put it on. She then watched as the man tried out his new martian powers, and beamed to see she no longer could shape shift or read minds.
"Thank you, thank you, um..." She stopped.
"Luther," The man corrected, "Or you may call me Lex."
(1)= as you wait for the next chapter, I am a drawer, so by all means, if any of you would like to see some of my drawings, or want me to draw scenes from my stories, or maybe some of your stories or ocs, I'll be happy to do that. Random, I know, but as i was typing I got several ideas for new drawings. Anyway, THANKS FOR READING THE FIRST CHAPTER!
