Shane Drops the Mic
Shane stood stunned after hearing Steve say that he's still in love with her.
"Did you hear me, " Steve asked.
With utter contempt Shane's eyes shot up to look him in the eye, as she replied, "How dare you say that to me, you utter scoundrel?"
Steve looked at her with confusion painted across his face. It never crossed his mind that Shane would react so violently to hear words that used to make her smile radiantly.
"You lied to me and by doing so, you caused me to lie to the man I love, the most wonderful man in the world," she spat at him.
"You love some relic of a man that never says what he really means and still calls you, Ms McInerney, " he asked in disbelief
Shane's countenance turned more severe as she stood there trying to keep from owing the swear jar her entire next paycheck.
Steve continued, " What do you see in that freak anyway? What makes him so great," he asked.
"Freak! " she yelled at the too of her voice causing several passers-by to turn and look at her in shock. " you are an unmitigated cad, Steve who isn't worthy of wiping dog shi.. excrement off his shoes." Shan said through gritted teeth.
"Cad?" He laughed, "Now he has you talking like a freak too."
Thank you, Mr Marek. That's the nicest thing you've ever said to me," Shane smiled sweetly as Steve stood with his mouth open.
Shane continued, "I'm going home and hear this. If you try to contact me ever again, I will have you charged with harassment, stalking, and anything else I can think of."
Shane turned her back opened her purse, got out her lipstick and proceeded to draw on her right hand.
Turning back to Steve she said, " I guess for old times sake I should atleast give you a kiss goodbye," she said looking like an Angel. She stepped forward, drew back her arm and Steve saw the lips drawn on her hand just as it hit him right in the nose.
As Steve stood there with blood dripping down his face, he heard a pair of stiletto heels smartly clapping away on the hard marble floor .
(I know Ms Martha would never let Shane do such a thing, but, it made me feel better and hopefully y'all will get a chuckle from it.)
