Manny woke up in the Australian hotel to the sound of her Driveshaft programmed alarmclock. She jumped out of her bed and quickly grabbed a long sleeved green t shirt out of her backpack and a fresh pair of jeans and got dressed. as she pulled her shirt over her head, she caught a reflection of her back in the hotel mirror.
Manny liked to think that she was a pretty girl. She had long dark red hair that went to the middle of her back and enormous green doe eyes with a light tan. But the only part of her that she hated were the stupid wings. She extended them out a bit, shaking them loose. Her wings were a dark brown, almost black with her bottom feathers a mixture of golden and white. She tucked her wings back in and finished dressing. She yanked on a pair of black Chuck Taylors, grabbed her pack and She barely had enough time in the car she rented...under a false id of course...to check her ticket info.
When the car got to the terminal, she quickly walked to the desk marked OCEANIC AIRLINES. She looked up at the assistant and said, " Hi, I've got a ticket for Flight, um Flight 815?" The attendant looked at her and asked her her name "Manny Griffiths".
