Onward with the story! It's a little OOC I suppose..

"Tch.. Troublesome.." muttered Shikamaru as Temari loaded him with two more bags of candy. "Oh, shut up Nara. They aren't THAT heavy," responded the blonde. "Why must you buy so much of this anyway?" questioned the lazy nin. "Kankuro needs his sugar and Gaara recently discovered cookies," replied Temari with a nonchalant wave of her hand.
They trudged back to the Kazekage's residence with Shikamaru laden with treats and Temari wearing a small smile on her lips. They were greeted by Kankuro at the door, wearing a scowl for the male.
"What's he doing here?" asked Kankuro as he jerked his thumb towards Shikamaru while he was helping Temari unload the groceries in the kitchen. Gaara hummed a little tune, perched on a kitchen stool while munching on a cookie.
"He's here to visit me," said Temari while she packed the rest of Gaara's cookies into an airtight container. "Naruto's here too." Gaara paused for a moment, eyes as wide as dinner plates, before he grabbed his cookies out of his sister's hands and sped off to see his loudmouthed friend. Kankuro and Temari just stared.
"I think I'll go out too. I saw a couple of pretty girls pass by when I opened the door for you guys," smirked Kankuro. Temari rolled her eyes and lifted her hand, bidding Kankuro goodbye. She tiptoed to reach a high shelf when she felt herself being hoisted up. Temari bristled, ready to fight the intruder but stopped when she realized it was only Shikamaru, and blushed.
"I wanna unwrap my present Mari," breathed the lazy nin into her ear with a short lick. "Sure. Just let me finish putting away these groceries," gasped the oldest Sand sibling.

"Whew, that's all of it," said Temari, wiping the sweat off her brow. "Yup," concluded Shikamaru, suddenly scooping Temari off the floor and into his arms, eliciting a squeal from the blonde. "Shika, what are you doing?"
"I want my Christmas present. You've had that bow around your neck for way too long Mari," he growled, bounding up he stairs. Temari blushed bright red as she laid a finger on the bright red bow.
She had asked Shikamaru what he wanted for Christmas a week ago while she was in Konoha. And he told her he wanted nothing but her. So she decided to give him herself. Temari grinned and blushed as she imagined what he might do to her after he 'unwrapped' her.

Moans and groans came from upstairs when Kankuro, Gaara and Naruto stepped into the threshold, freaking them out of their wits. They quickly turned tail and raced back to where they came from.
