~Mother and I~
By: Alaina

** If you know who my favourite character is, you should know who this poem's about. If you don't... you should still know anyway! **

Mother, you told me you would care for me
You said you would always be there for me

Everything will be all right, you said
We'll stick through this together,
You and I

Mother, I did it all for you
The lives I took in anger, I gave to you

It is good, you said
Nothing can stop us,
You and I

Mother, what have you done to me?
An innocent girl, slain by me

She was evil, you said
We will be all right, now that she's gone,
You and I

Mother, I cannot find you
They have come for me now, where are you?

I hear nothing.

We won't stick together
This can't be good
Our plan? No, yours
You and I... never existed
It was always you

Mother, You lied.

** So what do you think? I wasn't in the greatest mood when I wrote this (as you can probably tell I was feeling a little depressed). But such is the life of a writer... or an aspiring one anyway... **
