You and the boys stumbled through the door of the bunker after the long drive back from a hunt. It had been rough, dealing with a mass of vampires only to be ambushed by a pack of werewolves on your way back. You were tired, and wanted to go to bed. With a quick goodnight to the brothers, you trudged down the hall, running your fingers through your blood caked hair.

When you stepped into your bedroom, the door was closed immediately behind you, and you whirled around, punching without looking. When your fist made contact to a face, your eyes widened.

"Crap, sorry Cas," you rushed, cupping his stubbled face in your hands.

He was unharmed and smiled slightly as you checked his face for injuries anyway.

"Y/N, I'm fine," he assured, taking your hands, and kissing your knuckles. "How was the hunt?"

Sighing, you grabbed a night shirt and headed to the bathroom before answering. "Tireding. I think I'm going to sleep for the next three years."

Exiting the bathroom now in your night clothes, you looked around at the empty room, confused. "Cas?"

Hands wrapped around your waist, and you smiled. Cas might not understand all of humanity, but when it came to being sweet and adorable, he hit the nail on the head. But you were tired, and hadn't slept in two days.

Slowly, you pulled away, and smiled. "I'll see you tomorrow, alright?"

He pouted slightly, but your mind was already clouded with drowsiness.

"Y/N, I believe you are forgetting something," he said as you lay down.

"I know, I'm a bloody mess," you sighed, snuggling into a pillow. Stifling a yawn, you continued, "I'll just change the sheets tomorrow."

You heard a soft chuckle as you were lifted out of bed. "That's not what I meant."

Castiel was holding you bridal style, and without your blankets, you shivered, and cuddled closer into the angel's chest. "Cas," you whined, "it's cold!"

"Not until you give me something," he taunted. You could hear the smirk in his voice, that playful smile he usually saved for when you two were alone.

"Cas, if you're missing something, it was probably Dean," you sighed, trying to push out of his arms. "Please, I'm tired."

"That's not what I meant," he said, as he kissed your forehead.

Understanding washed over you, as you laughed softly. "If you wanted a goodnight kiss, you could've just said so."

Wrapping your arms around his neck, you kissed him deeply. It was awkward with the way he held you, but he set you down quickly, and his hands landed on your waist.

When you finally pulled away, he smiled, and with one last peck, he was gone with the sound of flapping feathers.

You giggled once he was gone, and curled back into bed. He was adorable, and he was yours.
