"I used you. You are pathetic…"
The words kept echoing in her head, tormenting her. She knew wherever she went, or the things she saw reminded her of him. She could not stand the thought of being without him. She loved him, she thought they were happy together, but that turned out to become ever worse. It was only a one-night stand, but why did she feel so close to him. Where their mutual feelings between them, before that night happened?
After a moment of silence in the corridor. She slowly opened the divas locker-room, praying there was no one inside. She could not bear for the divas to see her like this. She needed to be alone now. She plopped on the bench, as she thought about the great adventures they had together. It literally brought tears to her eyes. She could not think about that, she needed to get her mind off him.
She had an hour before her match. She decided to take a quick shower and get ready for tonight's show. She searched for her outfit, adjusting her top and shorts. She looked at the mirror once more, checking over her makeup. Looking at herself in the mirror, she forced a smile upon herself, hoping that tonight she would gain victory and everything would be ok.
She walked towards the curtains, waiting for her sign to go out. She could not help but feel all the emotional building up through her body. She felt anxious, her stomach felt a little queasy. She closed her eyes before taking a breath and smiling weakly at herself. She was going to maybe tonight as perfect as it could be. She just wanted to see the fans cheering her on, that all she needed to make her happy. The fans screaming her name out and holding out posters, it felt like the greatest thing in the world. It brought a smile to her face.
Her thoughts drifted to the steps someone was making towards her way. She would not bare but turn around and see whom it was. She felt a tap on her shoulder, nervousness going through her body. She slowly turned around and weakly smiled at the figure standing before her.
"Shit! Kells, I didn't mean to startle you" he apologized. She took a breath and smiled weakly at him.
"It's fine, just don't let it happen again" she playfully punched him in the arm. She could feel the sparks fly in the air between them. With Cody, she did not feel scared, or have to hide her emotion in front of him. He was one of the sweetest guys on the roster. One of her good guy friends.
"Would you like to… ' he awkwardly scratched him head before finishing on. "Hang out. If you want to?" She could help but let out a giggle and nod her head in agreement.
"Cool, stop by after your match, good luck" he winked at her. Oh, she felt her cheeks go bright red, but why in front of Cody Rhodes? He was just a friend that was all right. He waved one last time before leaving the sight. Tonight was going to be a good tonight; it was going to take her mind off things. She did not know why Cody brightened her day like that. However, there was something else about him…However; she could not put her finger on it.
Um, possible story? They are such a cute couple if you ask me:D
