A/N: I hope y'all enjoy this story!

It's been years since that faithful day on which Simba saved his father's life due to his dream of the future. He is now married to Nala with a son named Kopa and cubs on the way.

Kopa's POV

Faster and faster I ran from my attacker's claws until I found that I could run no further. She has caught me by the tail, lifting me up as she growled low and dangerously while her beady red eyes bore into mine. Before I had time to process anything, I felt her teeth sink into my stomach, then my throat and all I saw was darkness.

"DAD HELP!"

"DAD!" I yelled as I shot my tear filled eyes open.

"Kopa, are you ok? Are you hurt?", my dad asked, worried.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I had a horrible nightmare though. It was more real then my other ones."

"What was it about?"

"I was being attacked by that mean lioness Zira and she killed me.," I explained. My father stared at me in shock.

"Have you had dreams that told the future?", he questioned.

"Yes, why? Is that bad? Is there something-"

"No there's nothing wrong with you, son. Now please tell me what you saw in your other dream."

"I saw us sitting at the edge of Pride Rock while you were telling me that everything the light touches would someday be mine."

"That happened yesterday. Did you see it the night before?"

"Yeah, can we go see Rafiki? I want make sure I'm ok.", I asked.

"I think that would be best.," he said as he walked off and nodded his head for me to follow. We soon reached the shaman who told me something interesting about my dad.

"Your father had de dreams of de future as you do now. Rafiki would not be surprised if he still had dem.", the mandrill said.

"Wow…really?"

"Yep, I still do. The first of them happened when I was about your age. I saved your grandfather from being killed in a stampede by your great uncle.". I was in awe. He had never told me that before. I wish it would help my fear of being killed by Zira, not to mention that she was Vitani's mom. That night I decided to run as fast and far away from my home as I could, never to return again.

Simba's POV

It was dawn when I woke up next to Nala, only to find Kopa gone.

"Nala! You need to get up! KOPA'S GONE!", I shouted at the top of my lungs.

"NO! MY BABY! He can't be gone!", she sobbed. My anger boiled within me. I felt as if I could rip someone's throat to shreds. I stalked of to Zira's den while growling as low and dangerously as I could.

"YOU KILLED MY SON!"

I did NO such thing, but that brat deserved whatever happened to him!

"No-"

"Simba please don't kill her. We don't know what happened to our son." Nala begged me with teary eyes.

"You are hereby banished from my kingdom!", I spat.

"Surely you wouldn't banish cubs.", said Zira, emotionless. She didn't care about those cubs.

"I'm taking them. You don't care about them anyway. They will be safer AWAY from you."

"Fine, take the brats! I can replace them anyway.", was the last thing she said before she left the Pride Lands.
