Prologue
Long ago in the kingdom of Fiore before Fairy Tail ever had it's inception. There was a certain language used for magic. This language was the language of Magic. Using this type of language can make unbreakable promises, spells you never knew existed, a way to talk to spirits, and a way of life. For you see, Magic back then was thought to be as valuable as a human life, human life being ultimately the most precious thing to have. There were guilds back then, and this was also when seeing a dragon was very common. However there was one guild that was very powerful, its name, BelteShazzar. Belte meaning wand, and Shazzar meaning without. They were a guild that nobody would stand up against. Even their weakest wizard is stronger than most class S wizards. They were prominent users of the language Fiore now calls the Manarian language. All guilds used it, until someone realized you don't need the Manarian language to use magic. You could use your own language or use nonverbal magic. The language died out, but the one guild that still uses the language is BelteShazzar. BelteShazzar then kept growing more isolated to the point where most people would like to think that the guild is disbanded. Some people believed that BelteShazzar is still together but they're really isolated. The only people who know the exact answer is Era, the elite counsel. They let the public know that BelteShazzar is disbanded, but also there is a new guild in Fiore, its name is Fairy Tail.
