A young woman stood on the balcony of the tall tower, looking out over the woods that spread as far as her eye could see. With a sigh the finely dressed lady turned, causing her long plait of raven hair to swish about her, and re-entered the tower. The room she walked into was bare of furniture but in the centre of the room was a pedestal upon which sat a large, multi-faceted crystal. In each facet of the crystal an image could be seen; visions of different worlds.
As the young lady went to walk past the crystal one of the pictures caught her eye and she stopped placing her hand upon it. More images flashed through her mind and tears flowed down her cheeks as she removed her hand.
"Well," she murmured aloud, "we'll have to do something about this. I think some extra help is in order."
The woman removed her hand from the gem to reveal the vision that had caught her eye. A baby with rather messy black hair lay on a doorstep, a scar in the shape of a lightning bolt visible upon his brow.
A second image caught the lady's eye. This one showed six girls, about age sixteen, sat in a dormitory, talking excitedly together. With a smile playing across her face, the young woman began o hum as she waved her hands in a complicated pattern; a golden glow began to fill the air of the tower.
