It was a warm fall day September 17, 1934 and Kalya was up in her room typing on her typewriter a very strange story. About an hour later Kalya's mom walked into to the room and told her it was time for dinner. They had chicken and mashed potatoes. All of it was so good! The next day she went to school and every one was staring and giggling she had no idea why untill she stopped at her locker to pick up her books and a big picture of her sleeping and permant marker all over her face. How did they get that picture! She thought. She knew the permant marker was all over her face because her little sister Jessicia drew a cat face on her and could not get if off till morning. But that was last week. "How" She thought. "How".
When she was home she told her parents but they did not care. So it was a mystery she just had to solve on her own!
