The second star to the right,
shines in the night for you.
Two people walk along the peaceful ocean coast hand in hand. One dressed in a gleaming silver dress. The other, an all black attire. The girl glances at the boy with a shy smile. Then quickly looks away as a blush starts to form.
To tell you that the dreams you plan,
really can come true.
The boy looks at the girl and gives her a nudge. The girl looks at him questioningly. He nods his head towards the sky. The stars seem to be glowing brightly. One, more-so than the rest. The girl gasps.
The second star to the right,
shines with a light that's rare.
They both stop and simply stargaze. The boy steals a look at the girl and turns back when she gazes his way. He grasps her hand and gently gives a little tug. They start walking back toward the parked car.
and if its Neverland you need,
its light will lead you there.
The boy lets go of her hand as they approach the car and opens the girl's door. The girl graciously enters. He closes the door and makes it towards his own side. Getting in, he starts the car and pulls out of the parking lot.
Twinkle twinkle little star,
so I'll know where you are.
They both gaze out their windows, lost in their thoughts. The boy turns on the radio to something soft and lets it play. The girl smiles and lightly hums along with the music.
Gleaming in the skies above.
Lead me to the land I've dreamed of.
The boy slows down and stops the car in the girl's driveway. He gets out and opens her door for her. The girl proceeds to the front door, followed by the boy.
And when our journey is through,
each time we say goodnight.
They both stare lovingly in the other's eyes. The boy slowly leans forward. The girl follows in suit. Finally, their lips slowly graze each others'. Then leaning in a little more, it turns into a sweeter kiss. Leaning back, the girl smiles and opens the front door and walks inside. Turning around, she gives a small wave and almost unwillingly closes the door.
You'll thank the little star that shines.
The second from the right...
