Set between Halo And Halo 2
The battlefield was quiet, all was silent. No movement from both sides. The humans were preparing to assault the covenant walls. They were on the planet Z120 where the covenant had wiped out the entire race who lived on the planet. The humans were getting ready. Getting ready to go to their deaths. To walk onto the field knowing that they would either die on the battlefield or die in the castle walls. One way or another it was their final hours of their lives. One soldier was sitting by himself looking cold by rubbing his hands. His name was Jacob Sanders and was new to the military and was scared. This was his first time going to war. He was in training for 11 months and thought nothing could scare him until now.
"2 minutes men"shouted a voice.
That was it. 2 minutes till he died. Then someone came to him. He looked up to see a man in a green uniform with a rifle in his other hand.
"You nervous kid"said the man
"Yeah"said Jacob
"Don't be just focus on the goal"said the man
"What's that"said Jacob
But master chief walked away to speak to other soldiers. Around Jacob were mini guns being loaded on cars. Tanks being charged up and men preparing to go to their doom. The bell went and the men headed towards the gate. Almost millions of men got into tanks and cars with guns strapped onto them. Jacob crashed into the tank with along several other soldiers. Jacob operated the driving
while other soldiers operated the turrets. The line started moving. Jacobs nerves began to increase as the line continued. They finally exited the base and outside chaos began. Tanks were being blown up, men were being killed and Jacob couldnt stand it. He wanted to just get out and hide in a corner. But he couldnt do that. He continued while the other soldiers fired at covenant aircraft and covenant tanks. It was horrible watching it. Jacob just wanted to run and not stop but it was too late.
The covenant were defending brilliantly but the humans were making progress. Inside the fortress The covenant commander was looking down at the battlefield.
"Began firing the bombs"said the commander
"Yes sir"said the general.
The fortress began firing bombs out of the top. Tanks then were hit and destroyed. Jacob was so close until one hit his tank and everything was gone.
