Belarus's Revenge
The dark night gave me cover as I stalked my victim. She seemed happy, but not for long. I heard the sound of light thunder a little ways away, a big grin swiped over my face. Letting out a little chuckle, I stood as it started to sprinkle.
The woman felt the rain and started to walk faster. If I were to strike, now would be the time.
I found a fire escape ladder and climbed down as quickly and as quietly as I could. Flipping my hood up I ducked next to a dumpster, waiting until the woman was within reaching distance.
I grabbed her by her neck slamming her against the alley wall.
Her breathing escalated, and was staring at me with wide eyes. I leaned in closer to her, whispering in her ear.
"Could you make this exciting? You know… struggle a little bit."
I let go of her neck, putting both hands on her shoulders. letting in a gaping breath, she looked at me.
"Why dont you just kill me already?"
"Like I said, that wouldn't be fun, ha. And, why would I kill you yet, when you don't know what you are dying for?"
"Well why don't you just tell me and get it over with?"
"Ohhhh, you have a mouth on you, don't you? Little lady."
The rain started to get harder now. Taking her wrists I pined them above her head with one of my hands. With my free hand, I took the knife from around my waist brushing it on one of her cheeks.
The thunder roared in the sky above us, she looked up into the rain and closed her eyes.
I pushed the knife harder into her cheek until I felt a pop. She tensed up and tears were pouring from her closed eyes. The blood ran down her neck, and down the blade of my knife.
"Do you remember my brother?"
"I- I don't know what you are talking about."
"But of course you do. You were just with him tonight, do you not remember? Should I make you remember?"
With tears still running down her face she popped her knee into my stomach. I fell to the ground to catch my breath.
She darted off into the alley, with her still in my sight I stood up. I picked up my knife and threw it at her. I stood there and watched as it hit the back of her right thigh.
With an ear piercing scream, she fell onto the wet ground. She looked back at me, and tried desperately to crawl away.
"Help, please anyone, help me‼!" She screamed as I walked towards her.
"Nobody can hear you, so there is no point." I reached her feet, putting my left foot on her right thigh.
"Ahhh‼!" She screamed at the pain.
When I reached down to get my knife, I noticed she was sobbing.
I knelt next to her flipping her over so I could look at her miserable face.
I pulled back my hood, "Awww, sister you don't have to cry."
"Belarus? Wh-why are you doing this?"
"Ahhh, let me see, because you stole him from me."
"What are you talking about? He's our brother."
"No, my brother, you always get to spend so much time with him. And what do I get? Nothing."
"Belarus, you are crazy-"
"Shut up! Look at you, laying here in the rain. About to die, ha, just think. This would have never happened if you would have stayed home tonight, Da?"
"How can you do this to me? I'm your sister."
"I have always hated you Ukraine."
With that, I slit her throat, then knelt to whisper into her ear.
"Mon bpat."
