I don't know...this is really short, I don't remember posting it, and I just randomly found it while going through my files. So I added a few sentences and fixed a couple things...

Enjoy another random Jara drabble!

Mara took a deep breath, stretching her arms above her head as the morning sun shone through the windows of the bedroom. The dark purple duvet crumpled around her, but most of it was pulled to the other side of the bed. Silently, she gave it a tug and Jerome rolled over, letting her pull more of the fabric over her body.

Lazily, Jerome wrapped an arm around Mara's waist, pulling her closer to him. He laid his head on her pillow and Mara giggled quietly, brushing some of his tousled dirty-blonde hair out of his face. He sighed, moving his face closer to hers. She laid a hand on his shoulder and stroked his arm. He brought his face even closer and she let out a laugh.

He smiled and opened his brilliant blue eyes. Small silver specks sparkled in the icy orbs, but they warmed instantly at the sight of her and Mara could feel her heart melting at his beauty.

"You're so beautiful," he whispered.

"I love you," she replied before closing the remaining distance between them and pressing a long kiss to his lips.

"Good morning to you too, darling." He grinned and buried his face in the crook of her neck.

Beep! Beep! Beep!

Mara groaned, hearing her alarm clock go off. She tried to reach it and turn it off, but Jerome's arm remained wrapped around her waist protectively.

"Hit the snooze button." He mumbled into her black hair.

"Jerome, I need to get ready for work." She laughed, trying to slide out of bed.

"No, baby, stay." he said sleepily, but relenting and letting her slip out of his grasp.

"I really need to get ready, Jerome." she said, pulling his shirt down from where it had ridden up on her hips. "Go back to sleep."

"Don't leave me; the bed will get cold!" he whined.

"J, I have to go to work."

"Ugh, fine," he replied. "But can you at least give me a good morning kiss?"

She smiled and rolled her brown eyes, leaning down to kiss him.

Right as their lips met, he grabbed her shoulders and pulled her down on top of him. "Now you'll never want to leave." He smirked.
