Chapter 1: Pretty Please?

A/N: Hello, my readers! Haven't all of us wondered what would happen if Ulrich was dating Sissi during the series? Well, I have. So...here's my take on how our beloved hero gets out of it, by fake-dating our friend Yumi. At least, until it turns into something new.
"Sissi, I really need to get on my homework now, I'll call you later. Alright. Alright. Yes, right after I am done. Love you too. Bye." Ulrich hit the end button on his cell phone and collapsed on his bed. He dug around in his bag to grab his homework when one of his best friends, Odd, came in. "Hey Ulrich. Got Sissi off your back yet?" Ulrich groaned and hit his head against his book. "No. She won't leave me alone for a second unless I'm in my room or with you guys. I want to break up with her, but who knows what she'll tell her dad. I do NOT want to get expelled from here."
"I don't get why you don't just date your crush, Yumi." Odd replied, making kissy faces at Ulrich. Ulrich jumped up and tackled Odd. They continued wrestling until Ulrich felt his phone vibrate. "Oh great. Hello?"
"Ulrich?" Ulrich let out a sigh of relief. It was just Yumi calling. "Yeah, what's up?"
"Haven't you forgotten something? We were supposed to practice in the park in about...five minutes."
"Oh shoot! I'll be right there Yumes. See ya in a bit." Ulrich quickly changed into his sparring outfit and jogged over to the park.
As Ulrich and Yumi began to spar, Yumi noticed that Ulrich's mind didn't seem to be on sparring. He got hit be easy attacks and barely seemed to throw a punch. Yumi did the only thing she thought would snap him out of it. Yumi rushed toward Ulrich suprising him. Ulrich responded by grabbing her by her shoulders and flipping over backwards, landing on top of her and pinning her arms above her head. "Uh...I-I'm sorry...Yumi, I just..."Ulrich began, stuttering. Yumi didn't reply, she just smiled at him, realizing how beautiful his eyes were.
"Oh! It's ok Ulrich, at least you're awake now." Yumi said as Ulrich helped her up. "What's been up with you these past few days, you've been out of it. A lot." Ulrich slid down the tree he was leaning against and held his head in his hands.
"It...it's Sissi! She's really gotten on my nerves, but if I break up with her, her dad might expell me." Ulrich said, slumping down even lower. Yumi laughed slightly and sat down next to him, wrapping an arm around his shoulder. Ulrich shivered at the contact. "If there's anything I can do to help you, just tell me," Yumi said, bringing him into a hug and pecking him on the cheek. Blushing, Ulrich smiled and hugged her back, enjoying the contact between him and his crush. He suddenly straightened up.
"Maybe there is something you can do," he said, untangling himself from Yumi and looking in her eyes. "You could...pretend to be my girlfriend?"
"What?" Yumi said, blushing. "Um, I dunno..."
"Come on Yumes, for me. Pretty please?" Yumi huffed and stood up.
"Fine, BOYFRIEND."
A/N: Okay, this looks really short. Oh well, at least I have another chappie ready to go! Come on and reveiw if you wanna see them get together!
Ulrich: Yeah, pretty please?
Yumi: Stop that it might work on me, but it won't on everybody.
Both: Grrrrrrr...
Me: (Standing between them) Ok, while I sort the two lovebirds out...
Both: HEY!
Me: Don't deny it (Yumi and Ulrich blush) haha got ya. Cya next time!
