The sun was rising, the birds were chirping, the flowers bloom, but then screams roam the town and fire is tearing down buildings as if they were a peice of paper.
Spike was rushing everywhere while trying to find twilight. He was a dragon so he didn't really cough or get burned by the fire. "Twilight!" No response. "TWILIGHT!" Spike was really starting to worry now because the fire was getting out of hand and was burning down their tree house fast. Spike looked around as the books were being burned and he turned to his left to see Twilight laying on the ground. "Twilight!" Spike shouted as he rushed over to her. "Twilight come on! We've got to get out of here!" She didn't move. "...Twilight?" Spike reached his scaley hand towards her and before he could touch her a hand grabbed his shoulder and then everything went black.
Spike awoke from his lucid nightmare and he was sweating intensely. Spike was not sure what that dream was about but that's not what he cared about because the dream just felt so real and palpable. He shrugged it off and got up from his bed to walk down the stairs to see Twilight reading a book. "Hey Twilight" Spike said \
in a croaky voice cause by him just waking up, she looked up and saw Spike walking down the steps. "Whats up Spike?" She asked nicely. "Oh nothing Twilight...It's that I had this very real but weird and scary dream." "Well would you like to talk about it?" "I don't know it's kind of stupid" "Oh it doesn't matter!" "Well alright..."
Spike then sat down in the chair across from Twilight and for some reason he said this one word. "Death"
I know it's a short chapter but I wanted it to be dramatic and sort of those kind of chapter endings from the maze runner books because you would always at least be a little surprised by what just happened.
