I'm stuck here
In a world
That is not my own
I'm stuck here
Where I don't belong
Stuck forever
Or until God sees fit
For me to leave
Many long years
Have passed me by
And still I'm stuck here
Staring at nothing
Saying nothing
Trapped here
In a world
I don't understand
That has changed
In the blink of an eye
Why am I here
Stuck in this room
No one can see me
No one can hear me
Why am I still here
People see right through me
They talk as if I'm not there
When in reality I'm not
Not to them
Not anyone
They're blind to me
To my past
And still I'm stuck here
When long ago
I breathed my last
