Rain by Kasumi aka Awy-chan

This poem is just a little something I wrote up one night when I was
feeling sad and the weather matched the one in the story. It takes
place when Darien and Serena break up in Sailor Moon R. It is told
by Serena. English isn't my first language so I'm sorry if there
are spelling mistakes.
What a dreadful night I think as I reach for my diary. A habit I started
a while back. "Write it when you can't say it." I say. There's a reason
why I'm depressed tonight, It happened on this very day. A somber
anniversary is what today is. I open my diary and begin to write.
I hear the rain fall outside
on this dark stormy night.
It's been a month since you left me,
a month since my heart broke.
Broken like the pieces of a mirror,
falling to rest, forgotten on the ground
like the very rain that is falling.
Piece by piece.
Oh!
How could you be so so cruel to me?
Leaving me miserable?
Not even a good bye was spoken.
Or any kind words.
No, not anything to mend this shattered soul.
And as I hear the rain outside,
I make a vow, never again will I be hurt so.
No, not ever, no.
Feeling a lot better now, I close my diary, put it away and think:
"At least while I was writing, it stopped raining."
