This story has been re-done! Enjoy.

Danny Phantom was popular.

Danny Fenton was not.

Danny Phantom was athletic.

Danny Fenton was not.

Danny Phantom had many friends.

Danny Fenton had less then few.

Yet with so many differences, Danny Phantom and Danny Fenton were lovers. Had been for some time. But Danny Fenton knew something was wrong, he didn't know what it was, and it was eating at him.

Danny slowly walked down the empty hallways; he didn't need Dash chasing him. He heard moans coming from a near by classroom, but ignored it.

"Probably them again…"

He thought to himself and continued to his locker. On his way back he no longer heard the moans and kissing sounds. For that he was grateful.

He met Phantom in front of the school with a kiss; they then sat under a tree. Those were the times Danny craved for, he loved the way his lover's emerald eyes would shine and how his, now, shoulder length white hair would graze his head when they kissed. These times he could forget everything else and just relax.

Phantom stared as his lover slowly relaxed into a light doze; he let his fingers play with his hair. He knew his Danny was growing distant, it was partly his fault. No. It was his entire fault; he only wished he could take it all back. But sadly, even he couldn't rewind time.

Danny always knew that it would eventually come to this. Deep down, he always knew.

"Why?"

It was the only word that came out, with tears slowly cascading down his cheeks, he really didn't care.

Phantom looked into his, now, ex-lovers broken eyes, he looked away.

"Everyone said you were becoming… difficult and were totally not loyal…"

"So you believed 'everyone' over me! You trusted them, and their word instead of yours and mine."

Phantom was slightly shocked, this was a different side of Danny. But either way, he didn't answer, knowing what his ex said was true.

Danny saw the silence as his betrayed answer and felt his head bow and shoulders sag. He slowly walked off.

Over the course of a month Danny's grades fell, he didn't talk to his few friends, he didn't talk at all. Not to his teachers, or his parents or his sister.

Not many were worried, not many really cared. But soon everyone would, but then it would be too late.

Exactly two months after Phantom and Danny broke up the Fenton's found their boy with slit wrists, and a simple note.

'Don't cry for me, I'm not worth it'

The next day, everyone at school heard about Danny's suicide and everyone felt guilty. They all agreed to pitch in for his burial and all showed up to his funeral.

Phantom kneeled at his ex-lovers grave and said sorrowfully:

"No love, you are worth the world…"

I dont really want to re-do this, because to do that, i'd have to change the whole story and i like it how it is. Simple and depressing, no underlying tones of angst. Its how i used to write, so im keeping it. I did seperate the paragraphs.

Hope you enjoyed it. As always, review please.
