Let the Bond Stay Unbroken

"Oh Peter!" It was Wendy. She is Back! Peter thought excitedly. "Wendy, you're here I missed you so much! Oh why did you have to leave me here all alone? I thought you loved me. Did you think that I don't love you?" Peter was perplexed he loved Wendy with all his heart but refused to show it when she was there the first time. Now it was his turn to shine. "Wendy I L..."

Peter woke up with a start. He had been having that dream again. Wendy was gone, and in all likely hood, he would never see her again. Nevertheless, Peter wanted to see her again, to feel her hand in his. He wanted to feel as if he was something other than the boy who never grew up.

Peter blinked. Do I want to grow up? I would be with Wendy Again. He was in a state of turmoil. On the one hand, if he grew up he would stay with Wendy forever. On the other hand, he would have to become a man. The last thought made him shiver become a man? I shall not. However, he wanted Wendy more than life it self. Even if that meant that he would have to become one.

Peter was still in his state of misery when Tinkerbell actually said something that made since. (When Wendy was involved, she was insanely jealous. One time she had the Once-Lost-Boys shoot her out of the sky.) She said that if she really loves you, she would come back.
Peter thought that Tink was right. She would come back. She loved him. He saw it in her eyes when they danced, that fateful night, with all the fairies dancing around them. However, a year had gone by and Peter wasn't so sure if she had found someone that she loved better, someone more mature. Nevertheless, Tink said that she could not have forgotten him. He was her true love.
Peter's spirits brightened at that. She is right. Wendy loved him. Not some stupid mortal. Moreover, he headed off towards London to ask Wendy if she would return.

Wendy sighed as looked into the starry night sky. It had been a year since she had said goodbye to Peter, a year since that fateful kiss that linked her and Peter together forever. She was now 13 and growing into, as her Aunt would say, a beautiful young lady.
However, Wendy did not feel beautiful. She missed Peter. Just as Wendy was about to cry, John walked in.
"hey Wen. Are still sad about Peter?" He said.
