I know for a fact that Ash does't have a sister. I don't know Pokemon, really at all, but I know Ash doesn't have a sister. I'm just going to pretend he barely sees her, so he doesn't mention her. Go easy on me, since this is my first pokemon story. I think this will lead to another story following Amy's rise to pokemon... uh... fame. Written by Alexis with a tiny bit of help from Arthur.
A young girl walked past holding in her hand a basket filled with differen types of apples. A pichu who had wandered away from their parents, followed the sweet smell of the apples. Her nose filled with the scent, she walked out into traffic. A car swerved, scaring the driver and the pichu. She shrieked and ran across the street following the girl. She ran until the young girl stopped. She climbed the girl's clothes and landed in the basket. "Little Pichu, please get out of my basket. I need those apples," the girl asked. The pichu looked up at the girl.
"Amy, what's wrong?" Asked the man standing behind the counter.
"Nothing Mr. Jack," Amy replied. "A little Pichu appeared out of no where and jumped into my basket."
"Need help getting it out?"
"No thank you Mr. Jack," Amy said. She carefully picked up the pichu.
"You don't have a pokemon yet do you?" Mr. Jack questioned as he handed her what she bought.
"No. I was on my way to get one," she replied.
"Maybe you should keep that pichu," Mr. Jack suggested. Amy grinned.
"I might. Thank you Mr. Jack. See you soon," she waved and Mr. Jack waved back. She carried the pichu to the nearby lab.
Amy walked in to meet the professor. Professor Oak was working on some thing when Amy walked up to him. He jumped when a shock travelled over his arm. "Oh, Amy! Just the girl I wanted to see!"
"Hello Professor. I just turned 10 and would love a pokemon," she said. Professor Oak's eyes looked to the pichu.
"Looks like you already have one."
"Oh, this little Pichu? It jumped into my basket," she stated. Oak looked up at Amy.
"I think you two look great together. I think you should take the pichu for your first pokemon," Oak said. Amy smiled. Oak carefully picked up the pichu before checking it over. "A girl Pichu. I have to battle it for you so we can put her in a pokeball. Alright?" Oak asked.
Amy smiled as she answered, "I remember what you do since my brother got his pokemon."
Amy's older brother was Ash Ketchum. She had light brown hair that was cut at the middle of her back that would be tied into a ponytail with a blue bow. She wore a light blue skirt that went down to her knees. She also wore a white shirt. She had brown eyes that sparkled as she laughed.
"Ash. He's done well so far," Oak said.
"I hope to better," Amy responded.
Oak picked up a pokeball with a squirtle inside to battle Pichu. He released the squirtle to fight. "Squirtle use water gun," Oak ordered. Pichu's ears dropped and her tail went to the ground. Squirtle just looked at Oak.
"They're not supposed to do that, are they?" Amy asked. Oak glanced at her before picking up another pokeball. He tossed it, and Pichu was drawn into the pokeball. A ding and Pichu was captured.
"Do you want to give your pichu a nickname?"
"My Pichu's nickname is Rainbow," she replied.
"Rainbow it is," and she was given her first pokemon.
