(I'm back from Basic!! I'm out of the Army because of medical problems. Got hurt too many times. But now that I'm back I have alot of stories to put up so here is the first of many. Enjoy.)
A chill wind blew through my hair as I stood by the back stage door. I crushed out the cherry of my cigarette on my shoe just as the door opened. The most beautiful woman in my eyes walked into the night pulling a leather jacket over her shoulders.
"That was a great concert." I said handing her a cigarette.
"I was a little behind." She said as I lit the cigarette.
"I didn't notice." I said.
"Most probably didn't but I did." She said sounding mad at herself.
We started walking to my car but someone stepped in front of us blocking the path. All I saw was a glint of light off the barrel of the gun but it was too late. Before I could draw my weapon he fired. Several shots were fired in just seconds and in the end the gunmen lay dead. I looked for Priss and found her lying on he ground. I fell to my knees by her side. I could see blood on the ground but she didn't have any wounds I could see. A moment later she opened her eyes and sat up. There was a small cut on the side of her head from a graze but that couldn't explain all the blood. Next thing I knew I was on my back and she was looking down at me with tears in her eyes. I knew then that the blood on the ground wasn't hers, it was mine. I could hear her calling my name but I couldn't answer her. I gathered what was left of my strength and said the words I've wanted to say for a long time.
"I love you Priss."
Before I slipped away I heard her reply.
"I love your too Leon."
