A/N: I'm writing this story because I'm so upset that Derek isn't here this season, and I have no idea what to do with all of my Sterek feels! Fair warning this story is going to be set in the future, but in a future where Alison didn't die and Isaac stuck around (because he is the ultimate bae) Disclaimer I don't own teen wolf, if I did then almost every scene would be a Sterek one on the show!

- Prologue -

"Derek will NOT be Alina's guardian ever!" Scott demanded as he turned to his wife appalled at the very suggestion. Allison didn't seem the least bit phased by his outburst. She had been the one to convince him that they needed to write their will. Scott on the other hand felt he was too young to be writing a will at 21.

"He's a he'll of a lot more qualified than Stiles," Allison pointed out.

"But Stiles is good with kids, and he's Alina's favorite Uncle!" Scott said trying to defend his best friend.

"Alina is 3 months old, she doesn't have favorites! And Stiles might be good with kids, but what about..." Allison said trying to hint at the potential werewolf side of their daughter's life.

"Stiles helped me to become the True Alpha I am today," Scott pointed out.

"Stiles will NOT be chaining up our daughter!" Allison demanded. The lawyer sitting across from them seemed to be fairly lost as to where this conversation had been headed. Scott had asked Deaton if supernatural lawyers were a thing, apparently they did exist, but they didn't waste their time on wills.

"Then why don't we pick someone else entirely? Like... Isaac or Lydia?" Scott asked trying to compromise, hoping to not further anger his wife.

"Isaac? Isaac who got lost in the grocery store?" She asked unsure of her husband's sanity.

"It was one time! And that was almost a year ago!" Scott said exasperated.

"He was 20!"

"Lydia?"

"Lydia doesn't want kids," Allison pointed out. It was true, since Jordan was older than Lydia he couldn't wait for kids, Lydia however, made it very clear that she wasn't going to have any children until she was at the very least 28. She had a plan that she needed to follow, which included working her way to the head of an established company.

"And you think Derek does?" Scott asked.

"Why don't we just put the both of them down?" Allison asked Scott.

"Stiles and Derek?" Scott asked. Allison nodded, and Scott felt like this had been her plan all along. "Look I know you and Lydia have this delusion that Stiles and Derek are going to fall in love one day and ride off into the sunset, but Diles isn't real."

"First of all it's Sterek, second all it is the most real thing I know, and third it's not like we actually plan on dying. This is just a backup plan," Allison reminded Scott. Scott hadn't wanted to write the will at first because he felt like that meant she wasn't confident that he could protect them. After Allison pointed out that she was perfectly capable of protecting herself, she reminded Scott that he was an alpha and she was a hunter. They both had enemies and neither of them was invincible.

Scott huffed while childishly crossing his arms. "Okay, fine."

"So the names of Alina's guardians if anything were to happen to you are?" The lawyer asked, speaking for the first time since the question came up.

"Derek Hale and Caoimhe Stilinski."

A/N: I know this seems a lot like Life As We Know It but I promise you this will be different, plus Sterek makes everything better I know that this was just Allison and Scott but I promise you this is the only chapter without stiles or Derek and this is the shortest!
