Just the Beach

A slight stinging sensation burned at her cheeks and nose, working its way into her crystal blue eyes. She knew what was happening, and she had to stop it. Her blue orbs changed from crystal clear to an electric blue blaze of determination. The girl's vision blurred, and with it, the waters rose, like the waves of the ocean, like the waves before they crashed. Her lower lip quivered, and blazing eyes slowly died down into embers, fading with her will. Her eyes were like the sea itself; changing with her attitude, reflecting what was inside. I will not cry. I will not cry. I will not cry! She mentally shouted. Those salty waves in her eyes had become to high though, and crashed. Like raindrops sliding down a glass window, the tears blended. They were clear words written on sand colored cheeks, telling the story of how a girl inwardly crumbled, but refused to let more than these clear words portray how she felt. The only sound was of her shallow, shaky breaths; she didn't sob, whimper, or yell. She just let the waves rhythmically crash in her ocean blue eyes and land on her sandy skin. "Like the beach," she whispered. "it's just the beach."

I decided to just write it as a short one shot! (: I'mMusicalMe
