Jealous of Dean's Girl

Sam stood in the shadows watching, listening and oh so jealous. He wanted to ask why he couldn't have the affection, trust, and love that Dean so generously poured on that lady.
While Sam had disappointed Dean and betrayed his trust, the Impala never had, so she had Dean's love and acceptance as Sam himself probably never would.
He'd made too many wrong choices. He'd trusted Ruby to save Dean, he'd ultimately he'd lost himself to manipulation and addiction. He'd failed and just made everything worse. Worst of all, he'd totally lost Dean's trust.
Could he ever regain that trust?

I figure if Sam is consistently jealous of one thing it is Dean's love of the Impala.
