Lemon and Chocolate

"How did you know?"

Remus gazes into her eyes. "I know you, Dora. You can't hide from me."

"But how?"

Remus stands and walks over to her, until they are almost nose to nose, though he is half a head taller. They smile. "Let's see…" Remus frowns, as if concentrating hard. He reaches up a hand and tugs on a brown curl. "Too artificial. Hair just doesn't curl this way, Dora." He kisses her scalp, then brushes a calloused thumb along her eyebrows. "Too perfect and plucked. No woman who looked like this would ever approach me." He silences her protests with a kiss on her forehead. His hand slides down to hers. He rubs her stubby fingers with his own. "A woman of your calibre wouldn't dare walk around with those fingernails, Dora." She rolls her eyes at him and he bends down to kiss her palm.

He then steps back, a hand stroking the stubble on his chin, seemingly lost in thought. His eyes light up. He steps forward again.

"Those lips…too round and red to be real."

She knows what's coming. His mouth closes on hers, and she melts into his embrace, hugging him fiercely and inhaling his soft, musky smell that makes her senses go haywire. He, in turn, breathes in her heady scent of lemon and chocolate, stroking her cheeks and feeling her as she morphs back into herself. They break apart.

He smiles at her. "I prefer you like this, Dora. Don't change who you are." He pushes back her pink hair from her eyes and kisses her brow.

"Don't ever change." And he means it.

Author's Note: Felt like writing fluff. I'm really in a Tonks mood today, aren't I?
