Daydream Believer

Author's note: I know I'm in the middle of another WSS fanfic, but I just wrote this poem in Spanish class today (half the year is on a geography trip in Barcelona and the five of us here are a few teachers short!). Basically, Minnie is inspired after coming out of her English class, where they have been studying Romeo and Juliet (oh the irony), and thinks back to dancing with Baby John during that magical night at the gym...Reviews are more than welcome! :^)

The quiff of light hair that catches rays of the sun

But will soon darken to an intense chestnut; symbolic of the woods

Those eyes doth sparkle with glints of hazel

And tell stories of youth, love and innocence, each with a golden hue

That smile of infectious joy, captured in pearls of white

Which separate only to let the language of peace and laughter of life

Escape.

The skin that glows with the radiance of vivacity, but also a calm whisper of breath

Caresses mine; palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss

That my lips doth feel against his.

But what defines that fascinating character of his; that enigmatic entity

Is the way in which he dances: precision, passion, power, purpose, profusion, perseverance, punctuation, promise, prestige, praised, pure and pious, fearless, flawless, but above all

Perfection in mine eyes.
