So, sad

Dancing Under the Moon

Kimimaro x Hinata

They both loved to dance

Her pale hands clutched his larger hand tightly while her other hand creased his cheek lovingly and his hand tightened around hers. His other hand rested on her hip with his arm wrapped around her waist, his eyes had softened when he laid eyes on her after she knocked out his opponent.

Their feet moved together in graceful movements while he led her movements in the right direction, the grass and sand under their feet shifted every time their feet moved. She wasn't afraid of the bones on his hand that entwined with hers for it was only there to ensure that her grasp didn't slip from his.

Her compassionate and accepting lavender eyes looked into his searching emerald eyes.

He pressed her closer to his body feeling her heart beat against his chest; their heart beats beat at the same time. His exposed chest pressed against her thinly clothed one tightly, his fingers creased her exposed skin on her hip. Their legs brushed with each graceful movement.

The grass swayed with their dance under the bright moonlight softly and the sand stuck to their bare feet, some falling off only to be stuck to their pale feet again. Their pale skin glowed under the faint light and if they stars had eyes, they would be staring in awe at the beautiful sight.

They had snuck away from their villages to be like this together.

She did not pursue him into coming home with her and did not pursue her into coming home with him.

Even if they would be more than welcome.

They could not for their village needed them even if they needed each other more.

It was mere price to pay for falling in love with the enemy.

However this didn't stop them from seeing each night under the moon and the stars.

The moon and stars accepted their love like no one else would.

His breathe brushed lightly over her lips as he leaned closer pressing her more closely than before and her hand on his cheek moved to his silver hair gripping tightly. They continued their graceful and magnificent dance of love under the moonlight.

Their lips pressed together with passion and love so intense it looked like the moon itself.

They pulled away from each other reluctantly when the moon slowly descended showing golden rays of sun. He kissed the soft pale skin on her knuckles, letting go to pick up the body laying a few feet away.

They turned their heads to glance at each other one last time before disappearing in different directions.

…Until tonight.

Only then they would see each other again.
