This was something I just pieced up. I just... had the most wonderful idea to write this.
She stood outside on her balcony, the cool breeze blowing her bubble gum pink hair into her eyes. She brushed her hair to the side.
It's only going to take a day...
That was the last thing Sasuke said before he left into the darkness of the night. All he left her was a single red rose. She had it in her hand. She felt the soft red petals with her finger tips.
"Why didn't you come back?" She whispered, feeling the single tear drop roll down her cheek.
"Mommy..." a 5 year old girl said, cluthing onto her blanket. She turned around looking at the little girl.
"Mai..." she started, "I thought you were sleeping." She held the rose delicatly in her hand, she gently set it down on the wooden rim on the balcony.
"I couldn't sweep." Mai said, "I had a bad dweam." Mai looked as if she were about to cry. She picked the little girl up.
"Would you like me to sleep with you?" She asked. Mai grabbed onto the collar of her shirt and nodded. The pink haired woman closed the balcony door and carried her daughter to the master bedroom where she slept. She let Mai down and tucked her in. She layed next to Mai, covering herself with the black blankets with the uchiha symbol in the middle.
After a few minutes she could hear the stiffled breaths of her daughter. She shivered, and cold air from the balcony was open. Didn't I close the balcony door? She thought. She got out of the bed, taking one last look at Mai and walked out the door.
