~Alright, I had a bit of writer's block on my other stories so I decided to write this one. A special thanks to Singertobe for the suggestion and sorry it took so long to write.~
The clock clicked eerily as was upgrading Motherboard's programming. In order to do so, had to disable her firewall, something that always bothered Motherboard. She shouldn't be as afraid, there was no sign of danger but that didn't stop her from urging the doctor to work faster. Even Digit was trying to assure her that everything would be fine, maybe it would be best if she just relaxed and...
Suddenly, Motherboard sensed something terrible coming her way, it was a virus from Hacker. Motherboard warned Digit and of the danger and they tried to upload the firewall but suddenly, she began to feel weak. She told the others what was happening and felt the virus melt into her circuits, it hurt a bit but the numbness she felt was the worst part, it felt like every part of her was falling asleep. As her eyes closed, she saw Digit and and hoped it wasn't the last time she would see them. She loved and Digit was like a son to her. and Digit likely thought that it was the virus that shut her down before she could say goodbye but in reality, she was too afraid. It was then, everything went black.
She woke up, her first instinct was to cry but she saw the way Digit and looked at her and knew she had to be strong. was unsure if he should go find the encryptor chip that would be needed to cure her or to stay and help ensure she was alright. Motherboard insisted that he goes and Digit helped by promising that he'll take care of Motherboard. With her weakness she thought there were no way things could get worse- she was wrong and she discovered that when she discovered that was captured by Hacker. There was only one option left, she had to call for help and ask the three kids who unwittingly allowed the virus to reach her. If they accepted, Cyberspace would have a chance, if not, there was not a chance for the land and people she loves so much.
